They have lots of market stands selling interesting gifts, which tend to be a little higher end than the other markets. The vendors change weekly, so there’s a reason to visit frequently to see what’s changed.
It’s particularly atmospheric in the evenings, the most beautiful market in Zurich. You can get lovely overview pictures from the fondue chalet balcony.
But the real reason to come here is the food! So many delicious things to eat this market, from traditional Swiss to a variety of international flavors. It feels like a food festival, with lots of cozy corners to sit or stand while you eat and chat with friends.
