Thanks JonhOldman! I think I just need to get some practice with the bow. I went back out after getting some arrows and was able to complete the task. It got a little easier as I figured things out more. But I could still be much better. I will take your advice and try some magic as well. I have not got it yet, but I plan on getting the human clade perk that gives some points to ecumenical.

I am really enjoying it. I am sad that the alpha is ending tomorrow. I would purchase it now if I could. But I dont think we will have that chance for some time.

Hello, I really am not sure. I heard speculation on the discord that it will not be for some time yet. But honestly I would buy it now if I could. Its a little rough still but I have payed for games 100 times worse.

Hello Hex Knives! I approach MO2 the exact same way that I did in the first game. I plan to continue making videos when I can. Unfortunately I do not have much time as I used too. So they may be pretty spread out. I agree! It is looking real good at this point. I have gotten into the mirrors with no wait a number of times. And have gotten to main in less than 15 min at times. One thing to note though is that when I left haven I could only go to the main world. All of the mirrors had the 2 hour timer on them. It seems like haven is considered the mainland or something as far as the cool down is concerned.

When you make your character your max attributes and the amount of attribute points you have are set by your choices. The points you put into them though are not set in stone though. You can set them to raise, lower or locked in the game. Allowing you to raise or lower your attributes as long as you don't go past your max or run out of points to spend.

Good point, I should have really noted what goes with you and things like that. Honestly I was more focused on finding the village which was new and did not consider covering details that newer players could use. My bad.

No doubt that almost literally had me jumping out of my chair. Lol.. The first person perspective of the game leaves you open to such things.

Yeah for sure! I got lucky and I am still able to play in Haven. But I will be glad to get somewhere that I can actually start building up resources and funds. Even if I can not actually build at until later.

For now for sure. I just don't have time to wait in the que. Hopefully when they add the mirrors it will be easier to get off the island. I would like to have access to the broker and be able to start building up resources.

Hello there Viq! Yeah extraction and refining can be a bit to take in for sure. There is a bit of info out there for players to find though. Things like alchemy are much more deeper. With less info easily available. I have never got very far into that myself.

I can see that. MO2 has a long ways to go to get where MO1 was in many ways. Also the world had a darker feel.

Sadly I had to leave him behind at release. Hopefully I will be able to reconnect in the future.

the forced pvp are fucking annoying tho , funny , refuse to even add such simple function as switch off pvp I don't care I get - 50% loot and anything I only like the PVE aspect of this game and they want to charge for a subscription ? Id just buy star citizen lol @@SebastionSin

I am a peaceful player but the threat of being attacked is part of the game. The risk makes it all seem so much more real to me. But it really is not in issue much. As you see I recorded this video out in the wild fishing and had no issues at all. Same can be said in many of my other videos. Sure I get killed at times but I can limit my risks by not carrying anything I can not afford to lose. At times I take greater risks to get things moved or what ever, but that just ups the thrill a bit. But I get it that it is not for everyone.@@hieromonk120

maybe part of the reason is i dont have a guild ( i still stuck in that old school everuqest 1 2000 mindset where i just wanted to join the best selective guild ) its just disheartening for 130 hours i am still at that zombie grave yard grinding money phrase > got the money > buy 2 pets with gears from others > tried to take on razorback task > died cos didnt know mature razoerback are crazy like that and they come in pair > lose my pets > back to graveyard kill zombies for $$ > got killed by someone named witchking ( notorious for attacking noob ) > lost my weapons and my last 20 gold > back to square one > zombie again @@SebastionSin

Yeah, it can be a rough experience alone. I have been here for years so I am ok making my way on my own. But a new player would often be better off joining a guild to get ahold of things before venturing off on their own. Being here for 130 hours has to have taught you many lessons already though. For example, now you know not to mess with razerbacks until you are more prepared. Also you should have learned that its not a good idea to carry all you own around with you. If that 20 gold was in the bank then you would not have lost it all in one quick death. Death will come either by player, npc or even falling. So do not carry more than you can afford to lose. All that said, Keep at it. Things will get easier over time. @@hieromonk120

Yes there is! By the west stable, you get a free 27 taming and creature control there!

Yeah, I was not really to concerned about things like that seeing I was running around naked with nothing. ;) If someone was to attack me I was dead regardless.

@@SebastionSin I am. Played MO1 since beta and never fished for one minute but I need to learn it in MO2. How else will anyone make money without it. Graveyards will be overrun mining nodes near towns all taped out. Horse spawns tamed to nothing. Can't stay in Haven with that joke of a 10 gold limit. It's going to be hell on release. This game is not setup to have 300 people in an NPC town. But give it a few months and the population will dwindle to a more playable amount.

@@jeffdumpster3903 I fished a little in MO1 but just to relax. Probably will do the same in MO2. I agree that It will be crazy at first for sure. Not many days now!

Awesome! Thanks for the tips! If you are into games younger then you will most likely still enjoy them older as well. The amount of time you have to do so will mostly be what changes. ;)
