Almost anythng will work... we caught lingcod on a Cresent Wrench... crazy but true!!! and halibut using an old cat..lol just kidding. But years ago, a nut weight an a trailer hook with a cod-skin works really well too.. Cheers

this isnt any secret, its been around for a long while. its just more popular over seas.

What's the length of the overall assembly? From the knot at the sinker, to the top swivel? Also, how does this work compared to a spreader bar? Thanks for sharing... hopefully it works.
