Now I get the 9,000 square foot. It's a 2 story with a walk out (2 story front, 3 back). Makes sense. It didn't look like 9,000 square feet until I saw the rear of the property.

Not to be rude, but if I am going to pay that kind of money I really don't want a mirror image of my home to the left and right of me. Would have been cheaper to buy a plot of land in Sussex and build my own 9000sq ft home and probably save a million pounds. And the electric range?? Could have made the garage another 1 meter wide to allow for bigger cars.
