I play longsword warlock without spell spamming or demon. I only use it to heal back and melee like a champ, because that's what the founding fathers intended. Screw ranged and spells, embrace riposte heaven.

Just rush them i have killed 2 wearlocks alone on slayer fighter when my team mate left me alone, just rush them or space them the curses dont have such range as bows or crossbows, when they cast few curses and miss then they are like one 2 hits to kill them. Cant say i have the same experience sorry for you bro
