I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee 2 weeks ago. The whole experience left me angry. Between the surgeon not speaking to me afterwards, and his rude receptionist, I won't go back to see him. I'm walking well, do have pain at the end of the day, but I'm doing these exercises.
So helpful! Thanks
Thank you, I just found out how to use it,
The best video have seen so far on excise after arthroscopy surgery 😊
As if nothing ever happened. Physical Therapy was everything. thank u for asking.

Have you done exercises during 6 weeks?
@@joyvinodkumar2588 yes... But all passive ..that is ..sitting or lying down ...exercises were given by my surgeon ... From the 3rd week I added 1kg weight on each leg and continued the same excecises ..by week 6 became weight bearing ...
I was walking and weight bearing 5 days later. I probably shouldn't have. But I've no patience.

This is very helpful. I had abrasion chondroplasty patellofemoral joint surgery done a week ago. After removing the dressing and bandage yesterday, my knee looks so swollen and still is very tender. I was never given any exercises to do but I was encouraged to get on my feet every now and then to promote blood circulation. My follow up appointment is next week, Tuesday. I will mention to him these exercises. They look like they will help a lot. By the way, what is the recovery time after such surgery?
I had double tear with fold back. Surgery done. 9 weeks later. Slightly improved but still pain. Then learned about knee decompression. Big improvement in the last week.
I do have a tear folds and frays. I'm looking to get the surgery in a couple of weeks
How about for an arm fracture.
Man I’m still getting pain by the meniscus at 2.5 weeks post op. When I jump it hurts. Someone know why that is?

How are you feeling these days? I’m 2 weeks post op lateral menisectomy and I have pain on my lateral side shooting towards the back of my knee. The swelling is getting better but man oh man that shooting pain is terrible and worries me.
According to famed scientist and prominent anti-racist, Adam Rutherford, every person watching this video is descended from Indigenous Australians. Rutherford ' “If you were alive at the genetic isopoint, then you are the ancestor of either everyone alive today or no one alive today,” ' So if Indigenous Australians are descended from Indigenous Australians living in Australia at that time, then so am I and so is everybody else. That Australian land belonged to my ancestors. That is a plain and simple fact.
My surgeon said that it's best to get moving ASAP so I went for a walk with my walker within a couple of hours of the operation. The surgeon met me in the hallway and told me that he was surprised to see me walking
THAT guy DID NOT have surgery done. At least NOT a knee replacement.
Here for evan mobley
I'm 2 days post-op. I have swelling & stiffness, but, have been getting up walking, icing & exercising. Not as much pain as I thought it would be, maybe because it was so painful before.
How are you now I had a knee scope and a meniscus tear. I had my surgery 4/12/24 and they said start trying to move my knee 2 days after surgery which I’ve been doing. I had my first physical therapy session 4/17/24 and I wasn’t to bad just now I have to do these things at home. But I wanted to ask someone how they felt about the swelling how long until it went down
@@jaleesaedwarda9173 Hi! So glad you contacted me. I did not have massive swelling and was able to bend my knee early on. The 1st 2 days I thought I had it made, not much pain! Was I ever wrong. I think it was the anesthesia the DR injected in my knee after the surgery. But it begin to hurt a lot later. I did begin to do exercises in about 2 days. I went to PT 14 days later Believe it or not, I hurt my other knee, and will go to the Ortho next wk. I was in denial for awhile. My knee still hurts from the surgery. Did you get a Baker's cyst or a bone contusion? I did.
Thank you so much for this information ❤️🌹
شكرا للشرح الوافي والبسيط
Knee arthroscopy (meniscus shave, chrondroplasty, and lateral release) last week… While I could walk the day of (with stiffness and mild pain/discomfort) I used crutches with *some weight bearing the first two days. By the third day, I was walking with minimal pain/discomfort and stiffness, and had a near normal gait pattern. I’m at day 6 and have essentially no pain/discomfort, very little stiffness, and have been able resume all normal activities (minus working out to the level I did before). PT exercises and stretches (2x daily), frequent icing, and walking have helped tremendously. I was told 6 weeks for full recovery from my osteo (based on my age, fitness/health, and activity level)… I was extremely skeptical at first, but am now rather optimistic. BL based on my experience - Pain, stiffness, and recovery are relative and will differ from person to person.
How old are you if you don’t mind me asking I’m getting a clean up of my meniscus in December and took 2 weeks off work I hope that’s enough time to recover I don’t do nothing heavy or crazy at work I’m 33
@@clzo9172 44… I’m 10 weeks post-op and have recovered to close to 100%. I have returned to all normal/routine activities, with virtually no pain or discomfort. The mornings my knee can be slightly stiff, but loosens up with 10-15 minutes. While I’m not a doctor, I would think two weeks off work is more than enough time to recover to a functional level… PT, daily stretching/range of motion exercises, and icing/elevation work wonders for recovery.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Can you give us any updates now?
I have this surgery on 09-11-2024. Scared but ready for relief after 2 years of pain
Ps. I am 69 years young
How time recovery after knee orthoscopi operation
How day knee orthoscopi operation. Paccent recovery
thank you
is it possible to regenerate our partially remove meniscus with the help of meniscus college implant
I had an ACL surgery 3 years ago and i was suffering from a scare tissue tha didn't allow me to reach the full motion and swelling and pain after an easy exercises I had an orthoscopy last week Dobyou think i can reach the full motion or its too late?
Full motion depends...but on operation table it will be full motion..after 2 days it will be little less say 100 or 120 depending on knee and thights muscle. But gradually continue exercises can help u to get 140 150 degree of motion which is good
Whts ur experience after this one year
How are things now?
Thanks for Sharing!
Thanks.. just did my surgery 2 days ago.
How's it been and is it really painful afterwards?
Surgeon: How can I help you Patient: I got a little bit of knee. I want you to make the knee pain permanent, I want to be unable to walk properly, I want to develop knee arthitis, I do not want to return to the sport I used to do. Surgeon: No problem, I've done that plenty of times, for plenty of people Patient: Oh good, with that package, I should be able to finish it off and develop a serious depressive disorder
