This one was really weird to make, I was listening to Billie's new album and trying to paint based on the feelings I got from the songs (got lost a ton of times but it was fun). Hope you enjoy! OBS didn't captured the first steps to add color, but basically I just used a blue gradient map and changed/added some more tones to fit the vibe I wanted. Real time: 6h

Always good to draw OCs while studying. I'm not a big fan of grayscale and I kinda lost the track of how much I wanted to render or keep sketchy during the process, but it's fine. Hope you enjoy the video! Real time: 7,5h

I came across this piece of art on Pinterest today, and it really caught my eye. By the way, the person who posted it on Pinterest didn't tag you, so I made sure to do it in the comments. Your artwork is truly inspiring! Keep up the amazing work
tysm <3 unfortunately people who don't credit it will always exist, but I'm glad that reached someone who enjoyed it ❤

Whats the biggest advice you can give someone who wants to learn how to paint like this? Are there any books or courses you recommend? Absolutely Beautiful work btw
I think it all comes to learning fundamentals at the end of the day. Since you're aiming to make things look 3d it's extremely important to know about values, structure (shapes and form), anatomy and basic perspective (don't need those crazy 3 point grids, just knowing how forms act and deform on space is enough when starting). It's kinda strange to say this, but the best I advice I can give you is to try your harder to enjoy the process. There's no shortcut for painting and you'll make a lot of mistakes (you never stop doing then lol). It's a really frustrating path, so having a goal and things that motivate you is crucial (it can be anything, a job you want, a game you love to make fanart, etc. For me it was an Oc I always love to paint). You'll need to study the fundamentals, but if studying is boring for you now, try to paint what you want, have fun painting, you'll start to grow a curiosity about your own art that will help you to focus on improving and studying. Back to fundamentals, another REALLY important thing is color, unfortunately it's not something I can explain to you quickly, and for me is the most complex fundament to learn since it'll be the reflection of all your other ones. I've never done any course to paint like this, but there are some incredible books I recommend: -Color and Light (james gurney) -figure drawing for all it's worth (loomis) -Framed ink -(it's not a book but I always recommend to check Bo Chen's videos here on yt, ton of things I know I've learned with him) Hope this helps you and good luck!
Thank you for sharing the process!! What is the program you used? And how did you learn to render?
On this one I used mostly ClipStudio, but most of times I use photoshop. I don't know how to sumarize the way I learned render, but I started to learn this semi realistic style seeing Bo Chen's videos (here on yt). If you want something similar I really recommend seeing him, he's an absolutely master!
continua postando q é muito bom assistir
fico feliz q gostou :) assim q tiver mais eserá postado!

Muito pica, só seria melhor se fosse a lillia
great piece, even tho im not a fan of furries. I feel like u study a bit of Chen Bo's works(metal rendering kinda similar), no?
Yes!! He's probably my biggest inspiration. Besides the render, a lot of choices on my process came from watching him painting
