WINTER EAGLE Cemetery with lights Mother night Buried universe At midnight The slicing of flesh Ever thinner Buried universe Dimmer and dimmer Amnesia, agenda Pagan slave Thrown to illusion Dead, the brave Away from the placenta Jagged roof high We drop into holes Bittersweet! Die! Eternal damnation Seems so far from me A shadow of thrones Unholy Black coals for a heart? Life never be Each passage of time Each different country Cemetery with lights Mother night Buried universe At midnight The slicing of flesh Ever thinner Buried universe Dimmer and dimmer...
Canto I By Ezra Pound And then went down to the ship, Set keel to breakers, forth on the godly sea, and We set up mast and sail on that swart ship, Bore sheep aboard her, and our bodies also Heavy with weeping, and winds from sternward Bore us out onward with bellying canvas, Circe’s this craft, the trim-coifed goddess. Then sat we amidships, wind jamming the tiller, Thus with stretched sail, we went over sea till day’s end. Sun to his slumber, shadows o’er all the ocean, Came we then to the bounds of deepest water, To the Kimmerian lands, and peopled cities Covered with close-webbed mist, unpierced ever With glitter of sun-rays Nor with stars stretched, nor looking back from heaven Swartest night stretched over wretched men there. The ocean flowing backward, came we then to the place Aforesaid by Circe. Here did they rites, Perimedes and Eurylochus, And drawing sword from my hip I dug the ell-square pitkin; Poured we libations unto each the dead, First mead and then sweet wine, water mixed with white flour. Then prayed I many a prayer to the sickly death’s-heads; As set in Ithaca, sterile bulls of the best For sacrifice, heaping the pyre with goods, A sheep to Tiresias only, black and a bell-sheep. Dark blood flowed in the fosse, Souls out of Erebus, cadaverous dead, of brides Of youths and of the old who had borne much; Souls stained with recent tears, girls tender, Men many, mauled with bronze lance heads, Battle spoil, bearing yet dreory arms, These many crowded about me; with shouting, Pallor upon me, cried to my men for more beasts; Slaughtered the herds, sheep slain of bronze; Poured ointment, cried to the gods, To Pluto the strong, and praised Proserpine; Unsheathed the narrow sword, I sat to keep off the impetuous impotent dead, Till I should hear Tiresias. But first Elpenor came, our friend Elpenor, Unburied, cast on the wide earth, Limbs that we left in the house of Circe, Unwept, unwrapped in sepulchre, since toils urged other. Pitiful spirit. And I cried in hurried speech: “Elpenor, how art thou come to this dark coast? “Cam’st thou afoot, outstripping seamen?” And he in heavy speech: “Ill fate and abundant wine. I slept in Circe’s ingle. “Going down the long ladder unguarded, “I fell against the buttress, “Shattered the nape-nerve, the soul sought Avernus. “But thou, O King, I bid remember me, unwept, unburied, “Heap up mine arms, be tomb by sea-bord, and inscribed: “A man of no fortune, and with a name to come. “And set my oar up, that I swung mid fellows.” And Anticlea came, whom I beat off, and then Tiresias Theban, Holding his golden wand, knew me, and spoke first: “A second time? why? man of ill star, “Facing the sunless dead and this joyless region? “Stand from the fosse, leave me my bloody bever “For soothsay.” And I stepped back, And he strong with the blood, said then: “Odysseus “Shalt return through spiteful Neptune, over dark seas, “Lose all companions.” And then Anticlea came. Lie quiet Divus. I mean, that is Andreas Divus, In officina Wecheli, 1538, out of Homer. And he sailed, by Sirens and thence outward and away And unto Circe. Venerandam, In the Cretan’s phrase, with the golden crown, Aphrodite, Cypri munimenta sortita est, mirthful, orichalchi, with golden Girdles and breast bands, thou with dark eyelids Bearing the golden bough of Argicida. So that:

J'avais oublié que c'était si bon!😱❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
É como me sinto agora
Wow!! Maravilloso momento!!! 😎 Gracias por subirla!!
This group never misses. Seriously some of the best electro-industrial out there and yet so seemingly overlooked. A gem in a sea of corny aggrotech.
so good !!
The feedback at the very end is like a warm hug from a friend
Love the Prunes. Best band to come out of Ireland ❤️.
A song of great beauty performed by a great band. Thanks to @samueloliveira4555 for the lyrics.
Double Gold!!! One of my favourite bands ever!!!
I love driving to this song!

Ho avuto l'onore di conoscere Ady Newton e di aver partecipato come intro al suo concerto in un'improvvisato esperimento industrial - strumentale dal nome di Rasoio Mentale formato da più persone a me care.

This album is a masterpiece.
Apparently, _Death In June_ is a NeoN*zi project by some guy called Douglas Pearce (yeah, I had to spell it like that because Google doesn't allow damning information). "Death in June" is actually a reference to what's called the Night of the Long Knives; actually, most of the titles, albums and lyrics by DIJ are in reference to anything _related to_ or _directly from_ the N*zis. *Just a little "fun fact" for anyone curious or bored.*
i love this guy
Βάλτε τον μέσα κύριε Διευθυντά! Που είδατε ότι είναι καλό παιδί;
I was in Guggi's car once in Dublin, with Simon Carmody (singer of another band called The Golden Horde). Guggi was very nice and thanks to him, I went to U2's Kitchen nightclub for free. That night was probably the best night of my life. I also met Guggi's brother Strongman and he was probably the nicest person I have ever met. So humble, kind, loving and caring. 100% genuine. Finally, I met Gavin in. Australia when I traveled to see U2 in 2019. Also very nice. What gets to me is to see these guys all weird and scary with dark lyrics when in fact they are fun, kind and very friendly. They are very appreciative for having fans.
"Well shucks, I have the day off and I want an audio journey into Europe during the early 1940's... Do I listen to this album or 'Dernière Volonté - Obéir Et Mourir' ?" Either choice will take you where you want to go and you will eventually end up listening to each album on repeat.
Καϋμένε διευθυντή..
Really interesting to hear this and the 1981 rehearsals! Never heard before. Im thinking of my time seeing them live in London.. gotta get back out to gigs

*The Nature of Spirits* "Summoning and Commanding" The Earth is full of the dead and the dead are figures from a dangerous past. They are spirits among us and they are intelligent and conscious. They have cast off their bodies and swim and gather unseen except for those whom they choose to reveal themselves to. There is also a vast interconnectedness between the living and the elements and this is a form of magic revealed to the transcendental who by deeds cause storms and wind or other elemental forces. It is through knowledge and the truth that these become available to the living along with even greater magic and tricks. The spirits can be guides or they are enemies, saviours, or tricksters. To join the allegiance of Lucifer is, perhaps, to affect mankind through the imparting of this unseen affect, though rumored of trickery, which can fool the unsuspecting and appear, thus magical, and also to guide the pen or to whisper knowledge, or to join angels is, perhaps to wield help to the helpless, though rumored of weaker spirits, unless there is a grand design by which they form. All magic is through knowledge and also the spirits who are the dead. In short, the nature of spirits is much the nature of mankind though, perhaps more intelligent for the journey of death. They are full of trickery and few possibilities of help, unless they have organized into a grander design. Spirits can be summoned or commanded, but anyone with any foresight can see the only legitimate purpose would be to find the truth or guide one's pen. A war of the spirits is mathematically inane. I suppose at times war may break out amongst them and they would fall in line to their orders and masters, though one may wish to command them to provide necessary items in life. Certain inscriptions or traditional prayers to summon them may or may not be effective and most reactions would be extremely subtle. This is why a clarity of mind is necessary to understand and perceive their responses. Dedicated to Christopher Marlowe, the author of "The Tragical History of Dr. Faustus iovoiovoi is a quadrivium

2023 !!! Unstoppable Cure
Gonna play cyberpunk 2077 to this
Capolavoro assoluto
Cinder Sharp; the only other vocalist to appear on a Cocteau Twins album. their version of Hazel on the BBC as well as TMC's Sixteen Days / Gathering Dust exemplify how well their voices complement each other. what an honor to be an honorary Twin.
