From what I’ve seen, yea the Mk7 intercooler will fit the Mk8. I searched up the IE intercooler I’m running and it’s compatible with MK7 and 8

If I try to launch from dig, it will still slip a bit but it grips way better than my old tires.

From what I've read yes it will affect your engine in the long run. I usually drive it on normal mode to avoid the pops, or I use the custom mode which is a reduced version of the pops. Also the cracks and pops will eventually clog and damage your cat, if you have a catted down pipe. Since it releases excess fuel which gets sent into the hot down pipe and ignites it to create the sound. Hope this helps.

Not as loud in the cabin. I also got rid of the blow off valve and it sounds completely different. The BOV really masked the turbo sounds

How do you get the amber to turn on?

I put the dust cover back on. I think the fan will work even with the cover on. I haven’t ran into any issues as of today but I’ll let you know if I start noticing anything going south.

@@TheHamburglar7 The lights have been working fine with the dust cover on and I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. That’s a good question. I’ll try it out today and see if it’s blinds oncoming traffic.

Keep the dust covered off so the led can get airflow

You can hand tighten them. Just make sure the threads are aligned and you're not screwing it on crooked.

Yea the BOV won’t interfere with the intake. You’ll need to remove the intake to reach the factory diverted valve

It’s the Forge BOV. Careful when redirecting the hose tubes. After some time mine ripped because of the bends and heat putting stress on the tubes. Only reason I found out is because I was trying to troubleshoot my CEL. I was getting a boost leak. It happened again a couple months later and I ended taking it off. I do miss the sound though

Yea I unscrewed the nut that connects to the battery terminal and inserted the negative ground wire. The ground wire ring wasn’t big enough to fit in the screw so I just inserted it between. I’m changing the location and screwing it on to the frame of the car to be more secured.

The rear didn’t work 😅. I ended up contacting the company and they sent me a replacement.
