When Everything Changed - Pastor Chris Cope
"This message explores the spiritual significance of Jesus' death on the cross and its transformative impact on humanity. Here are some key points:
1. Death Isn't Just the End of Life: The message argues that death is not merely the absence of a pulse, but the absence of God. This spiritual death is emphasized in Ephesians 2:1, which describes people as being "dead in trespasses and sins."
2. The Fall and Separation from God: Referring to Genesis 3:17, death entered the world through sin, marking humanity's separation from God-an event that fundamentally altered the relationship between God and mankind.
3. Jesus' Death and the Cross: The message stresses that the death of Jesus was not just a singular, horrific event, but the initiation of a movement of reconciliation between humanity and God. Mark 15:35-38 highlights the moment Jesus died, and Matthew 27:51 details the tearing of the temple veil, symbolizing the removal of the barrier between God and humanity. This act was a pivotal moment where everything changed.
4. The Presence of God Restored: 2 Corinthians 3:16 reminds us that the Holy Spirit came to dwell within believers, indicating that through Jesus' sacrifice, God's presence is now living inside all who believe.
5. Jesus Died So We Could Live: Jesus’ death wasn’t just about His own suffering, but was an act of love to enable us to experience new life, both spiritually and eternally.

A Wake Up Call - Pastor Chris Cope
มุมมอง 44วันที่ผ่านมา
"In this sermon titled "A Wake Up Call," based on Mark 14:32-50, we are reminded of the urgency to remain spiritually vigilant and aligned with God’s will. Jesus, in His moment of deepest anguish, prays a powerful prayer: "Not my will, but Yours be done." His agony was not merely a physical suffering but an intense emotional and spiritual burden, as He took upon Himself the weight of the world’...

In this message based on Mark 14:12-72, we are reminded of the central truths that shape our identity and faith. The passage takes us through pivotal moments in the life of Jesus, highlighting betrayal, failure, and divine love. This message encourages us to reflect on the nature of our identity-who do we identify ourselves as? Is it rooted in truth or in lies? We often overestimate our own str...
Double Dipping - Pastor Chris Cope

“In this sermon, "Double Dipping," we are reminded that God's Word is not just a text to read, but a living, breathing instruction manual for how to navigate life. Too often, we rely on a once-a-week dose of Scripture-whether in a Sunday service or a brief devotional-to get us through the week. But what if God designed His Word to be more than just a quick fix for our problems? What if He wants...
A Broken Vessel - Pastor Chris Cope

"In Mark 14, we see that Mary has an extravagant act of devotion where she breaks an alabaster jar of expensive perfume and pours it over Jesus’ head. Her actions stand in stark contrast to the attitudes of the Pharisees, Sadducees, and even Judas, all of whom struggled with motives rooted in pride, greed, and the desire for self-preservation. In a world that values success, security, and the a...
End Times Survival Plan (Part 2) - Pastor John Cope

“As we seek understanding of the end times, it is important to consider the events that will unfold during the Day of the Lord. This period marks a time of divine wrath and judgment, where God's power will be revealed to the world. The Day of the Lord is moving towards us, and while this reality may seem overwhelming, understanding it can actually bring us encouragement and strength. While grow...
End Times Survival Plan - Pastor John Cope

"Our faith hinges on a critical question: Is the life of Christ truly living within you? We must look at the fruit of our lives as a reflection of this reality. Are we genuinely alive in Christ, or merely existing? As we navigate the complexities of our times, particularly in light of eschatology-the study of the end times-it's vital to center ourselves on Christ. He is our anchor amidst the un...

Preach! It’s much needed! People are faaaaar too accepting of the changes going on around them. Jesus is the ONLY way. You can’t make up your own rules. I’ve never heard of your church but I really appreciated this message.
That’s weird. Yes it’s weird to live in a day of watered down Christianity, talking down to congregation as if they are naive to their faith. No wonder so many continue to leave the faith because they see the same world in the church.
Very good Chris I admire your courage just continue to be faithful!
That’s the question right there… Who’s order?
Hmmm we do say that for real. Do it in the context not to be weird.
Word!
Praise God!!
