The International MSc in Agro- and Environmental Nematology is a 2 year programme at Ghent University. The IMaNema programme hosts the Nematology Digital Learning Platform or NDLP. It is an online tool containing web lectures, video demonstrations of nematological techniques and crop damage, virtual microscopy slides and so much more. The NDLP is under constant construction with new content being uploaded regularly. In the coming years IMaNema together with partners from Sub-Sahara Africa and EU will develop a BSc course module with lecturing material for both lecturers and students, as well as content for an MSc module with focus on topics relevant for the global South. You may freely use this material either to enhance existing courses in your university or to integrally adopt it. The only thing we ask for is to refer to IMaNema and Nemedussa. The video material will be posted on this channel, the actual lecturing material on the NDLP. Registration: check our website.

Thanks for watching... but it should be continue with microscope viewing and that would be extremely fine..
Congratulations on the video. Excellent adaptation of the Peter's slide. What are the dimensions of the slide?
So cool 🎉
This is educative. Am currently carrying a research on this.
Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed doing this 😅,thank you the guide😊
From where can I buy this slide ?
Nice .Is acid fuchsin with lactophenol used for staining purpose ?
How to copy cp and pp class
nice~
Plz give us information more
0.33-0.49 could you please explain whether these are 2 amphids or viewing from lateral side? And what is the shape of the amphid
Is it possible that we can see two similar shape and size amphid in one nematode in dorsal view
Maximum how many amphids in one nematode have?
Que papel usa para la filtración?
Are cool
Great work thankyou very much❤
Great work thankyou very much❤
Great work thankyou very much❤
How to make the en face view of nematode
Great video! What optical instrument do you use?
But can we isolate them alive?
beautiful images! how do you film that images?
Thanks ❤❤❤❤
I use porcupine quills to pick nematodes. I remove the needle from a mounted needle stick, daub melted sealing wax over the top and slide a quill into the hole. They are lovely and fine for picking up small worms but soft so they don't cause any damage. Very effective for picking live worms too
Thank you for this clear and practiacl presentation.
Great video and explanation ! Hope more videos ....
My favorite... P. vulnus😂
That is perfect... 🎉
Do same for wet mount
Nice one but want it slow to understand it well, l actually don't understand the topic
What method did you mass rearing of EPN. .
Anguina????????
Hii , happy to see such content in this form..I want to do SEM of nematode , but confused about Critical point of drying..please share the process..
Fantastic procedure and very clear to repeat in our lab. Thanks so much to share it!!!
Brillant work and so clear video, thanks so much to share it.
2:18 Why nematodes 'want' to go into the water instead of staying in the soil? It's just tap water, in't?
COOL SCIENCE PROJECT IN PROGRESS!!! Since they don't survive in -20*C Canadian winter, I decide to cultivate/farm them inside! 1 I just ordered the nematode for slug on Amazon today. 2 I will harvest a bunch of my local slugs. 3 I will find second hand aquarium/terrarium 4 I will make some diy bioreactors from Masson jars. Unlimited supply of beneficial nematodes: In a nutshell, I will feed the healthy snails in the aquarium: they will make compost during winter as well! I will take one snail and put it in the Masson jar with nematodes. Nematodes will feed and reproduce and multiply. I will time my outburst of nematode for late spring and fall of each year. I already have a cheap 20$ camera magnifier/microscope variable 10x-200x to inspect how it goes! I'm 46, but I'm sure I would have won the science fair at school back then!!! Maybe sharing my 'discovery' with my local gardening association, I will see.
this was very helpful. in my lab, I use a pick with eyelash stuck on the pointed tip
Wow, awesome info, what were all the ingredients you added. I heard you say DE but could not understand what else you said. I think my IJ’s die since they are just in distilled water. I will try some paste
I used the 32 micron sieve but the nematodes flow through
hello, we do exactly the same method, but after a while, the nemotodes decompose and deteriorate. Tell, please, what is the reason?
Tnx lot
What name of that flower?
Great job sir It will be helpful for many nematology students
This was a great illustration.
Thank you for recording such a great video
Thanks for making video on this! Picking nematode is really very difficult task we generally use single hair of brush or fish fine softbone or aspirator made by using glass pipette.

So amazing, so beautiful
