Me saving my friends with my SB y attack is very funny and concerning at the same time

the mods that display the monster's hp and parts hp is cheating and nothing else , the game is designed arround monster behaviors that let you know when they are low hp , its an important part of the game i think and it kinda disgust me that some players are using this

The only significant weapon mod I agree with is modified arrows to not have to be so close and play more ranger style as opposed to shotgun bow

Especially while joining from an SOS flair for a monster HUNT quest, please ask the host if they want the monster slayed or captured and then actually respect it. Sometimes I want the quest to double as a bounty and it's annoying when I have to go on the same hunt again, or prepare to hunt another monster from the same category that I didn't plan to hunt, because someone kept attacking a dying monster and killed it. Very often it happens even after I said in the chat I want to capture

Honestly the only time i think its okay to sit at camp is if the monster is nearly dead and you've carted twice, at that point you're more of a detriment😂

Dont forget about the HBG users that spams Clusters whenever the monster is down, sending everyone else flying Or the hammer users that only target the tail, and the longsword users that only target the head

Once had a dude who joined mid hunt via SOS, used hacked gear on Fatalis and one shot it. After carving he plugged his *socials* which led the lobby (my friends) to call him a loser. Proceeded to call us hypocrite for taking the carves before the quest ended. Truly pathetic behaviour to think your cool for cheesing a fight for us

As a CB main I am guilty of sending a fellow hunter off into the air, IM SORRY!! I know how annoying it is, and I do try to avoid it by usually sticking to the side where there is no one, or just not using the uppercut follow-up on the savage axe, which delays my next move. But it is what it is.

I'm very indifferent on mods. For me mods like Hunter pie is fine, because it really doesn't change anything at all, all this is a small quality of life thing that doesn't affect the gameplay at all. (As long as people keep the damn DPS to themselves). But I definitely agree with modded weapons, more so the extremely powerful ones, because there's no reason, to be using uberly powerful weapons in a public lobby. In certain other things are ok, like weapon skins but try to make sure the gameplay stays the same. Though I'm not sure how I feel about the ice mod yet, but something tells me that's just best played with friends. (Now before the toxic member of the community for world get on me for allowing mods like Hunter pie and say 'get good', it literally makes no difference, and there aren't many talls for what a monster is low on health at all, because I had lunastra flinch so much at the start and then she just stopped, there is literally no tells other than limping. In fact sometimes seeing the health bar can even allow you to see what you're doing wrong in combat sometimes so I consider that a w in my book. As long as the experience is enjoyable for everybody and then I'm okay with mods as long as gameplay stays Fair. (AKA no Op weapons and gear)) though I must ask how do people feel about the ice mod or extra monster mods like the crimson fatalis mod? (I will say I am guilty of upswings as a hammer main, but usually I'm not trying to do them on purpose anyway thankfully)

To expand on leeching, don't host a hunt and then sit at camp expecting other players to kill the monster for you. (Actually had that happen.) As far as mods go, a lot of people that play on console don't seem to understand that most mods are purely cosmetic.

As a host for primarily noob hunts, I really want people to understand this etiquette. I want everyone to learn and have fun. I want to add another note for those who aren't new to the game but are involved with new players. People with full endgame iceborne builds that come into low rank and annihilate monsters are the worst. They strip new players of the one thing they need most and hand them a free victory with no reward. I was hard carried when I first played Monster Hunter and I wish I hadn't. I didn't learn how to hold my own against most monsters until I was well into high rank. Those Fatalis gear players were a big proponent of that.

What annoys me the most is Long Sword and Dual Blade players that stop me from using my hammer. Go for the tail and let me KO the monster without getting staggered.

Got in a lobby one day, i play with HBG and Gunlance, that day i was with my main HBG fighting Allatreon and 1 of the guys had a Greatsword that kept launching me and our LS to space, got our team dead. Ngl he made us pissed that day.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the people who will flash a flying mounted monster or claw rotate thr monster as you try to do it instead of just letting go, or the morons that will save up their slinger ammo for weapon combos and would watch you go through a full grab instead of saving you, people who will wake the monster after you spam 99 sleeping stickers and messages...

Thank you for the tips! I agree with everything except about the part of "bringing your team mates into the air" thing. I mean... The game was made to be that way. Is not like you would do this on porpuse everytime, people have to start treating games LIKE ACTUAL GAMES... I bet this feature was made with the thought people would find it funny "haha, he actually made me fly trying to hit the monster. Nice of the devs to think about it" and not "OMG WHAT IS HE DOING HE THREW ME AWAY BLA BLA BLA" People are boring this days even in games 🙄

Rudest thing I've seen lately is a guy who would start quests, SOS, and then go AFK. First time I assumed something came up, but an hour or two later I responded to an SOS again and saw him doing the same thing. Most things have nuance though, I don't mind if a player is slightly leaching by staying back and playing super slow and defensive, especially if they've already carted, but throw some life powder and join in for safer openings, have a HH you can swap to and buff the team even if you don't know the weapon very well, or a ranged weapon and tickle as safe as you can. If you still cause the final cart? Oh well, get some practice solo, maybe look at the monster logbook or wiki and prepare a specialized set, you'll get it eventually.

Imagine losing years of grind because this game dont have account system for cloud saving 😂

If you join a multiple monster hunt fight the monster that the host is fighting. If you solo a different monster the host won't get the rewards and probably won't make it in time to carve.

Damn a lot of these comments are mentioning some real scummy shit. Why can’t people just hunt monsters and have fun? It’s not that serious if someone messes up, just queue up again. Never would I thought someone would make a looter Pve competitive🤣

She will charge after she recovers from boulder drop, then will go phase2, usually poisoning her, before she leaves is prefm cuz will reduce timespend on phase2... And man...honestly you got me only with the safi's drawing :D well done. p.s. forgot to mention, when still trying to push safi further to the edge of arena, no one should get close to stand beneath her, cuz she will turn

99% of my blacklist (played since 2019) has consisted of nothing but cheaters or "modders". I have zero tolerance for it in multiplayer.

As someone who plays about half of the weapons, I've had players leave my SOS after seeing that I was using a Gunlance. I understand being frustrated with specific weapon types but I can't imagine ever leaving a lobby simply from a player's weapon choice. This is the weapon where I notice the most player drop-off. It is also surprising since SOS lobbies allow you to see what weapon's everyone is using. I've also had players who cart until one faint is left then leave the hunt entirely, leaving me with one remaining cart and no more lobby slots for help. That happened to me quite a bit when doing 25% health Alatreon.

If you're a hammer and you're on the head, and you've got a longsword user at the wrong end of the warcrime, by all means yeet em off a cliff. They're tail cutters, and they should have flinch free if they're gunna go against protocol

In regards to the second point that you brought up, I wanted to add my personal opinion to it. Ofc I know the feeling how bad it feels when you kart 2 or even 3 times in a quest and it is also a little annoying when someone else fails a quest for you, but I never get upset with people. But what makes me upset is when people abandon the quests immediately. I'd rather have you try your best and fail the quest than waiting in a different area for me to finish it for you or leave the quest for the slightest inconvenience.

This is a personal pet peeve of mine towards any heavy or lbg user while I understand i should be running flinch free in my swaxe build I have not gotten the ability to meld or have them pop up for me I greatly would appreciate if when you used wyvernsnipe wyvernheart or dragon piercer you don't stop me from dealing my largest damage potential with my big bang combo on hammer by constantly shooting piercing ammo at the monsters head and flinching me FFS

I havent touched the beta yet but the thing that disappoints me about lance is the removal of perfect counters on lance that was the only reason i played it in world probably gonna stick with my hammer this time
