I think I’ve played on this arena more than any other in Deadly Alliance. The reason why is because in training mode this is the arena you get if you don’t pick one, and it’s an amazing arena!

I copy/pasted my comment from a similar video just in case I don't get an answer there. :P I'm curious, how did you get these shots? Via emulator? If so which console? Really cool to look closely at the environments like this without the game UI/characters intruding, I always thought this game had awesome art. One of the coolest songs in the game too. With these older games I sometimes wonder where all the game files and models and such have gone after the years have passed, I'm sure most if not all have been lost (especially after Midway Games dissolved) but I wonder if there's a couple hard drives in storage somewhere that still have some stuff heh. Useless but fun to think about for me. :P

Its so pretty even in 2D i grew up with the Sega Saturn version so the music is so different

This is my 2nd favorite MKDA arena mainly because of those beautiful buildings on the mountain side amd the music

Deadly Alliance and Deception brought is some of the coolest arenas ever i wanna explore some of them so badly especially the desert ones like this and Golden desert Sarna Ruins is probably my favorite from Deadly Alliance the ost is amazing and its just so beautiful I hope it can return to MK one day Deadly Alliance will always be my favorite MK

They should’ve kept the terracotta warrior statues in.

Instead of an empty grand hall, they could’ve added the Dragon King’s army like they showed in the game’s intro.

Fun fact: the pyramid in the background is the Lost Tomb.

I find it odd how this stage didn't get the same music as Shang Tsung's Palace, but the Nethership did.

My favorite one from MKDA... Love the Egyptian vibes here on this map.. Especially with that mystical sounding part at 0:26 brilliant!

Deception was my 1st MK, when I was a boy I didn't know what was under Mileena's veil. Suddenly after sometime I noticed a weird smile on that loading screen... and then the fatality happened on chess kombat and I almost shit myelf

The music to this zone sounds similar to the one from Shang Tsung’s palace.
