That is an awesome slate. Elim if ur fighting a boss or something, the build hits really hard so the cull isn't as good in most content I'd go Burnout. No, faster cdr won't help dps. You don't really want a trigger rate faster than your demo charge speed since we get all our dmg from the explosions that need a demo charge. if every time your skill goes off you're getting explosions, then you're golden. if you see alternating then you're either using a too fast medium or need more demo charge speed. I just slammed +5 attack skill levels on my mace, feels good.

@@luc_xott I assume you rolled over the flat phys for the +5? I think i need a little bit more recharge speed im at 233% the wiki says it scales with speed does that mean atk or move speed? , also my next goal after the weapon is a 4x strength false god. Also is it me or does true strike (2nd talent in warlord) not improve our dps? i tried multiple times at the dummy and i have 0 difference if i take it out.

@ yeah, if you have t1 might as well roll over the fire not the biggest difference. Not sure about attack speed I just go by the “demolished charge speed” % amount x 3 seconds. It should work, but this game can be weird. It has an AoE tag but the explodes are “from” projectiles idk

@@andreidemianenko2980 I got to around 20bil with my weapon upgrades. I haven’t tried to push into profound at all this season.

Thanks! Unfortunately I've moved on from this character, the build is super meta so there's a bunch of videos for the higher budget options. If you've about where I am in the video the biggest upgrade will be going for either Rhythm or Spell Burst (would need a few minor changes) mediums, should be roughly 2x the dmg as wind rhythm. that will get you into profound.

@ they both basically do the same thing, it depends on the flavor. I like ice lance bc of the new supports, shadow shot didn’t really get any changes. You might get slightly more efficient scaling since all dmg will be erosion but all the jumps you need for ice lance are wasted on SS.

y2 probably a better starter build for sure, this is an experiment with a new support and scaling vectors. i've played for a long time so i like to try stuff outside the meta.

getting to 1k str with the chest/helm makes a big difference, same with affliction effect if you have True Flame. you can also get a big chunk of damage dream crafting your weapon even if it doesn't have t1 mods.

@@luc_xott im at 666 str, with a crafted chest. with all t1. life, str and % of both , affliction effect. il post a code soon as i hit 95. its hard t4o make FE in t7, to get the upgrades

I would suggest Groundshaker, it has similar scaling and all the gear will be the same. you can pivot to shotgun once you can buy Blast Quake.

Recovery is tricky to solve as a life build. I have ~50% resists across the board, 22k armor, and -35% additional dmg taken from tenacity blessings. I'm decently durable but big aoe spells or chain hits can take you out. I've been looking to testing recovery options on slates. Mods like additional life regen speed or investing heavily into regain interval can be good. there are also some hero traits like Survival Will that are very strong for life regen. swapping warcry for life source + low hp activation is also viable. gemma3 actually has a good phys mitigation layer from her final hero trait, you can get more of that elsewhere and scale "-additonal elemental damage taken". overall going energy shield + can't interrupt recharge is the strongest.

@ wow ok I learn a lot for what you just said I think I can apply that to what I’m currently playing lol I’m mostly shield… i do like the auto boom boom so I might give it a shot

Are you using an activation medium? There are several options, anything with a CDR between 0.7 and 0.5 would be fine to start.

I’m using activation medium wind rhythm, they changed the old “cast while xxx” supports into “activation medium xxx”. Each has different trigger conditions and cooldowns.

yeah, or spell burst activation. that's the biggest upgrade.

@ that would also require a switch to spellburst with the helmet etc. and would be more expensive. I switched to regular rythm for now, that did „only“ cost 1k

You want the mod "adds x% of skills base damage as base wilt" mods, as far as i can tell that's the number you see when you mouse over the skill. right now i'm using 2x t2 weapons and a 50% belt and i have approx 2200 base wilt dmg.

Does the skill choice matter then? E.g % added dmg effectiveness?Or just taking a skill that has as many hits/s as possible Whats the difference to the shadowshot variants

honestly im not sure why SS does so much damage, it could be bugged. ice lance can hit 54x per trigger with the new bounce supports while SS doesn't have any double hit mechanics that i know of.

​@@luc_xott I have no clue which is better on a candle; +1 proj or +1 jump.... +1 proje would mean the extra proj would bounce for the amount of jumps I already have. +1 Jumps would mean that all proj I already have would bounce an additional time. No idea what would result in more dmg :/ I'm sure there's some math to be done lol

@ yeah honestly they’re both about equal. Eventually you want one of he candles that give aura effect or one of the support skills.

i dont sorry. just check the hero ranking or ask in global, there's a bunch of people playing the build.

50-70 for the two supports 30fe blind vision 10-15 fe for misc starting legos. Can get a decent wind rhythm for 200ish if u shop around.

yea but you don't want to sacrifice too many other mods. there's a lot of power in slates.

i'm testing which i like more. PoF lets you move automatically with auto-channel so its the least input but doesn't feel as fast as blink. PoF also keeps ammo at max all the time while you have to be proactive with blink to keep yourself reloaded. depends what playstyle you want.

You could probably make it work but no new supports kinda makes LB fall behind. They deleted those gloves sadly.

There's a few ways to do it. I tried essence crafting suffix initially but that got expensive. I opted for defense harvest spam since that had the best odds for %ES and eva, i just got really lucky and hit t1 life and all res. Took probably 75k juice before it landed.

Yeah this is a low budget proof of concept, there's a lot of room to improve the gear.

The defense ceiling is much lower using bow/quiver, with a good wand + svalin shield it could be ok. But at the end of the day this is a gimmick build using new items, not some new meta contender. I pivoted to poison Lighting Strike with the ward setup and now have 150k ehp and can kill t17.

That's from the "Unspeakable Gifts" notable on chaos large clusters, 10% chance to explode

I tested the boots + vinespike with a bunch of skills before this build and unless you're playing something like DD of Chaining that hits super rapidly the delayed ramp is very noticeable while mapping. bossing however, i think inextricable might win out since you don't need the ward gimmick at all to scale damage.

@@luc_xott If it could have RF it'd be super solid but this just looks like it at that point it may end up as another iteration of cold reap in that you require a lot of resources to fix problems just so you're allowed to have more sockets lmao

i think it works with auto-exert but you're losing a lot of damage links and phys dot is already in a rough place.

Replica frostbreath will be more single target damage but boom mace made clear sooo good. It can proc off the edge of shockwave, effectively doubling your coverage. And honestly with the gear I had on this guy I was one tapping basically everything so frostbreath was overkill.

sorry fam i'm done with TLI for this season. this setup caps at around 1t if you fully invest but i swapped over to firebird. more damage, faster, better aoe.

unfortunately they deleted those gloves, made me really sad. this time around you're better off using purple gloves with some combination of Fervor, "kill enemies below x% life", spell levels, crit damage, etc with good ES rolls. I'm working on an update video for this season, stay tuned!

absolutely! you can get most of the core items for very cheap, it's totally fine to use a lower rolled belt and weapon and still farm t6-7 beacons. the voyager set pieces are also very strong for youga and will carry you until you're ready to swap to full ES gear.

the damage can be a little rough before level 90, try to get the gloves, belt, and weapon ASAP for an early power spike.

Stoneskin with Vanguard is quite insane, Is hard to get high amount of HP with builds that use ES uniques (iris, moto) so Stoneskin basically doubles my HP.

are you casting yourself? the illusion won't be doing as much damage early on and you should be casting more.
