Theory 1: Because of the flashing red and blue lights, all of the music video is occurring after Laru has already called the police. In other words, all of his panic in the video is happening literally as the police cars are parked in front of the house; that's how fast people can disappear. If it is not the police, then I'm thinking it is either a supernatural omen or maybe even alien lights. = Theory 2: I believe that the other character in the hallway is a ghost of another victim, probably Tozasu from the silhouette. One wouldn't normally pose like that in a hallway, especially when sirens are outside lol. = Theory 3: This takes place in the actual in-universe arrangement where these characters live close together. Laru has physically seen (at least one of) his roommates/neighbors disappear to the monster/creature/entity. He is confused why no one else has raised the alarm about this happening, and the video ends with it being up to him to give his last warning. = Final thoughts: This may be a start of a supernatural horror song series. There is "someone or something"--an Entity--causing people to disappear from their own bedrooms. Now, are they dead? Missing? Absorbed? Dunno yet. Maybe it also causes Laru to experience madness in his final moments due to the visions that he is seeing. In this case, Laru knows that something is very wrong with his neighborhood. Are his friends being abducted by a professional kidnapper? Are they being murdered? Is all of this the work of only one terrifying person? But what if it isn't? What if it isn't just a lunatic? What if some*thing* is causing all this terror? And Laru *knows*. He's seen it consume someone. He's already called the police. Takuto, an officer, is already on-the-way. He's familiar with this group of people. Something is going down in this town; why can't the other officers get that? He parks his flashing police car on the street... Laru is struck with the screeching of tires and the flashing blues and reds. They're here! But something is wrong. They haven't entered yet. Flashes of people, of creatures, and omens greet him in the shadows. Laru makes one final call to someone before he ends up being consumed too. A few inspirations that I can come up with are the two horror visual novels PASSWORD and Echo. PASSWORD is focused on a murder mystery with a deeper reason for all of the calamity. Echo is focused on an entire town seeming to have an evil force permeate through its existence. ... Whatever you decide to do, I hope that you continue the series! This all sounds really intriguing! I love the "cold case" idea, @blackpeacock1000 ! :D
