In this arrangement by Guillou, the Father Willis organ of Hereford Cathedral truly shines. The background noise is the action of the Harp and of the Great chests as recorded beautifully by Lavender Audio.

Written as a part of a collection to memorialize C. Hubert Parry, this beautiful Andantino fits the Steinmeyer Organ at Ss. Corpus Christi Church in Berlin beautifully. Thanks to OrganArt Media for this outstanding sample set.

This P&F is assumed to be an early work of Bach's - probably as early ashis time in Arnstadt. It is full of exuberance and joy. Recorded using Sonus Paradisi's outstanding sample set of the Schnitger Organ in the Martinikirk in Gronigen, NL

There is another more "traditional" recording of this on my channel, but I wanted to take the opportunity to explore a different sound for this fantastic chorale on the Post-Romantic 1925 Steinmeyer organ at Ss. Corpus Christi Kirche in Berlin (a fantastic sample set by Organ Art Media). You can hear the sampled background noise of the organ in the recording. I'll turn that off for future video...

My VPO was built by Arnold Organs and I'm using the Evensong sample set of the Lively-Fulcher organ at St. Olaf in Downtown Minneapolis. I'm using a Presonus interface with their native drivers :-)
Very nice!!! My absolute favorite music that whole work from Tchaikovsky, never heard it on organ. So cool ^.^ Leave you some support here, keep going with that cool stuff!!! :)

Excellent. 👏 It demonstrates a clear grasp of orchestration...especially the right which to my recollection features celesta. Pedal motifs so good too with shades of bassoon and oboes...

Wow Jason, just wow! I love your performance of that because of three things mainly (forgetting that you seem to play all the correct notes throughout), your careful choice of registration is exquisite and your tempo throughout feels perfect BUT most importantly for me, your micro-rubato control added to the in between manual changes/melodic ideas is superb so that nothing seems rushed but totally musically and masterfully presented. Bravo Jason.
Thanks for the compliments, Maurice. I had a teacher say that music had to breathe between the lines. I think he meant that I needed to breathe, but it works both ways. :-)
