Mankind already possesses grace, kindness, love, and inspiration. Man also possesses hatred, evil, avarice, and corruption. We have taken all of our human traits and projected them onto a non-existent overlord, then pretend that the overlord imbues US with the very things we're already born with. It's dizzying to listen to the circular logic of the faithful.

It is perfectly ok to have pains, and air what grieves you... In fact, being able to speak your feelings in words is INCREDIBLY important. Learn to translate your feelings into words. So that you can learn to translate your words, into action. We are on this earth to move. Not just to be moved by words. Praise is not action, on its own. You need to feel moved, and act in service to others who need help. As much as you can. Show your love of god daily, by spreading it amongst his children. The people you see every day. Show them they are loved with a smile. Or even a 'hello.' Everyone deserves to be seen.
