I just purchased my printer do I use the ink that’s in there to set it up and how do I get the cartridge for the sublimation conversion?
The ink that is in there is regular printer ink. So you would need to replace this ink with your sublimation ink in order to set up. The link for cartridges is in my bio or you can look on Amazon 😊
If I’ve been using my printer with dye ink for a year, do I need to clean any other areas? Or can I still just swap out the cartridges?
You should just be able to swap out the cartridges :)

Can I use this ink for a epson wf 7820 ?
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be compatible with that printer. I've included a link to the website in my description. The website lists the printers that are actually compatible with the ink. All the best 😁
Did you have to put a chip in front of your cartridges
No, the cartridges came with the chip.
Was this your first time using this printer or did you use regular ink before
I used the regular I with the printer first then I turned it into a sublimation printer

What kind of chip or on those cartridges, I see some cartridges selling without the chip, do the cartridges have to have chips
From my understanding not all cartridges have a chip, but the chip just helps the printer read the ink cartridges better. Once you have a sublimation printer & your cartridges are compatible with your printer that's all that matters 😊

Do you know why it’s taking already 15 times for initializing sublimation and still have lots of lines breaking
Usually after you convert your printer from a regular printer into a sublimation printer line breaking on your paper confirms that the printer has been successfully converted..but when you actually print out an image to sublimate there shouldn't be any line breaking, if that's the case you need to either turn off high speed print, do a print head nozzle check, print head cleaning
If there is ink in my ventilation what can I do .
I haven't encountered this problem, but I have heard others who have had this issue say to use a needle filled with hot water to flush the ink out
Would this also work if you like to heat press on cotton clothing? I'm told it only works for polyester and plasticy stuff.
Sublimation works best on polyester..you can sublimate on cotton but there's a different process. I will make a video on this soon.😊
