Morning Jack Great explanation about drainage after bulldozer, must admit I thought it was backwards way of doing the job, but totally see the logic now With the huge area of rooves you will have, 2 buildings and potentially a roof over your clamp, the volume of rain water those drains will be dealing with, are you looking at harvesting that water, know you won't want it going into your slurry or midden, but clean rain water must have a use on the farm Thanks again for all your videos, and apologies once more for all the questions, especially as I'm so far behind in watching your vids Take care and best of luck going forward

Sorry Jack, another question for you Why have you opted for round bails over square, is it purely because you wrap some bales and it means only needing one machine ? Reason I ask, looking at the trailer, they're stacked pyramid, with square bales wouldn't you get more weight/bulk on per trailer, less void less carting, fuel saved

Isn't the lanolin from the fleese meant to be really good for the skin Can't believe there isn't a better market for the wool, they reckon years gone by, the sale of the wool paid the yearly rent for the farm Now it's an expense to the farmer, as the cost to shear is more than the fleece worth Guess you could say both sheep and farmer get fleeced With the thermal properties you'd think home insulation could be sustainable use of the fleeces

Sorry Jack, this may come over as a stupid question, but why don't you use a scraper in the passage, surely using the bucket creates ware on the bucket as well as damaging the concrete floor As a non farmer and a watcher of other farming videos, I've seem that the concrete needs to be gripped for the stability of the cows, Tom Pemberton and Charlotte showed the texturing where building new cow shed's, Charlotte also showed a video of her old floor being recut, so waring out the texturing seems counterintuitive Apologies again if I've misunderstood the process Geoff

Put min 600kg wheel weights and let rear tyres down a bit. May save your front differential

Jack put some rear wheel weights on, the front press could stress the front axle too much and take weight off your rear wheels loosing grip at the rear.
