Thank you! It was fun to record, as I’m a huge Beatles fan.

One of the best Professors I've had. Rock on Dr. Miller!
Thank you so much for sharing your techniques! As a student preparing to return to graduate school, I dread the days of PowerPoint karaoke. It is so refreshing to find professor making an effort to teach effectively. I'd love to share this on my blog, BrainSlides, and possibly interview you for my podcast (if I ever get it going again).
Congratulations on your very effective demonstration of how to exploit the affordances of presentation software. Unfortunately, the differences between your approach and PowerPoint Karaoke include not just the investment of considerably more time, but the need for a creative streak that you clearly possess, but others may not. So, in addition to having few or no courses in how to teach, many professors may have very limited experience using media creatively.
Very engaging lecture examples. The only question is how long it takes to create the visuals. If the visuals are provided by the publishers, most instructors would gladly adopt them. I wonder if Professor David B. Miller has a team of visual artists working for him. Also, I wonder why Professor Miller still lectures in a physical classroom when he could just as easily post these lectures online and teach thousands of students asynchronously.
that is the right hemisphere
