What about DuckDuckGo? Where do they fit in here?

I've had Brave web browser for around a year now and has worked fine against TH-cam adds, but as of yesterday it has failed to stop adds on TH-cam ! I think TH-cam have found a way to defeat Brave !

Sub 16mbps is no where near high speed. To download call of duty nowadays (~300gb, if I’m correct) it would take well over 40 hours.

I've had Norton 360 for two and half years and there's no doubt it offers really good protection. But as for me being a "tech. enthusiast", far from it. The technical demands of trying to understand, use and resolve difficulties have left me overwhelmed by it all, with Norton offering very poor support, to boot, if you're not an "expert".

Nasty ass program will not be removed from your computer. It puts pop-up banners all over your workspace. What a piece of crap. Circular instructions which lead you back to the same nowhere where you started. They should be sued for invading computers.

I use KeePass which is free and resides on my hard drive... as long as my HD is secure and nobody can guess my master password I'm fine.

Bitwarden is the best.

password managers = putting all the eggs in 1 basket. This is beyond bad! Single point of failure!

Host the database at home, use Keepass ! I dont trust hosting PW databases on someone elses servers.

Bitwarden, KeePass and ProtonPass are all open source password mangers. Bitwarden is my favorite / best overall pick. KeePass is consider the safest by many security experts. ProtonPass is still great pick and has some really nice features. I would not trust LastPass to store anything safely. 1password isn't that bad but it's not great. I would stick with something open source (meaning anyone can see the code and review it).

Not all features are world wide. privacy credit card is only in the States.

what a shill. sets up a choice between the worst possible password manager and another one that he has an affiliate link to. I didn't hear any mention of other options like bitwarden although I didn't suffer through the whole video. give me a break, i hope none is native enough to take this video seriously.

Lastpass was hacked 4 times... and like 1password they both live inside a "Web Extension" for that reason alone I do not like them. If you don't need your passwords synced... you can use KeePass or PasswordSafe But if you do need them synced and on mobile I would go for Bitwarden or Roboform I am partial to Roboform as it works with damn near every browser and it stores your data locally and only passes data with the Web extension. Your whole database is not exposed. Additionally Roboform (the company) does not store master passwords. so there is nothing for a hacker to steal. Been using it since 2006 and while not perfect... its short-commings are no where near as severe as the rest

Friends don't let friends use LastPass. Bitwarden for the win. Ten bucks a year? Heck yeah.
