Holy shizzle! You explained it perfectly, and you deserve a sub! The way you describe the spiritual aspect of creation is 100% right. For me its like connecting to God himself through creation as he is a creator as well and doing something he made us capable of doing since we are made in his image. I struggle to get into that state when i have the time to put into it: like I start my DAW up into a day where I may have just a few hours to work on what i wanted to work, make half a song then save cause real life and responsibilities don't take care of themselves. And when i plan finishing the song on a day that i have the time for it, i just get stuck or have difficulty tapping back into the state of what i created that other day. making me just tweak knobs and never be satisfied. What can I do?
