Got my asuka and jun up to rajin by sulimply watching what you do in certain situations and watching certain punishment and weakness of character or certain people playstyle.. 2000s hours is alot though and i think you do need a LONG break and enjoy playing some other games for a change.. im 28 years old and i have been playing tekken since 2000 onward, so it not going anywhere anytime soon.. I still play tekken 8 but not as much now just play 3 hours out of the week. I been playing alot of playstation 5 single player games alot lately and been my xbox series x just to watch television lately.. when you do decide to comeback im sure you will feel alot better playing this game

Dude, I dropped this game after a month. It isn't Tekken enough for me. If T8 came out in place of any previous Tekken, people would have trashed it HARD.

I took a 3 month break from this game, i started playing a couple weeks ago again with the new update and its still painful tbh. Maybe season 2 "big" patch where they nerf drag damage by 3 this time it will be better 😂😂 but i think it's not fun because of the core mechanics *heat* , *power crushes* , *rage arts* .

Apart from burning out and balancing issues... do you personally enjoy how Tekken 8 is being played? No issues with terrible backdashes, RPS plays on steroid etc. ?

I stopped 2 months after release when it was obvious that the "theyll fix it" stuff, was actually intentional Got real tired of shill glazing just cuz their job depends on it And all the twitter drones that repeated the same talking points and would get on anyone with any actual criticism So i really resented this game and how wishy washy everything has become (more so the community for fake supporting a terrible game) But yesterday, i got the urge to play and purchased Heihachi I actually had.... fun 😮 I turned off my brain! I took the game for the garbage mix-up pressure heavy mess it is and played the way they want you to Theres such a lack of depth in this game thats so sad to see as a life long tekken fan And im not even high rank at the moment so i can only imagine how annoying this is when someone uses this abusive system to the maximum

Taking a mental health break from games in general as in not the best place in life right now, but when I tried to use Tekken for that escape, which Tekken 7 actually worked, getting plugged on by a guy that's bating a rage art, does nothing but cycle through grabs and simultaneously wearing a Chipotle shirt was the moment that I realized the game wasn't going to be that escape. Sparking Zero is the only recent game that looked legitimately interesting, and I am really glad it's a good game. I think a lot of people think others get off on hating games, which of course some do, but with how goddamn lazy triple A studios are, with games always coming out literally broken (this is now the norm), I don't think people being upset is as ridiculous as people make it out to be. Anyways man, I am still going to keep following you and I watched your Sparking Zero stream recently. Have no idea what's happening in the game yet, but I still watch as it looks fun. Hopefully Tekken will rebound, but with the polarization of the community and the developers that seem to have lost their own identity, I'm not holding my breath.

I usually upload TEKKEN TAG 2 and TEKKEN 6 gameplay content, but never got TEKKEN 8 (Although I've downloaded the TEKKEN 8 Demo, which I rarely play). Lately, I've been playing DragonBall Sparking Zero (Which I've pre-ordered on October 5th,2024) and THAT is an addictive and epic game!

Bro I fully understand u, i started tekken since T3 and we play offline competitive high lvl tekken, we the best players of our community took us only 2 months at maximum to quit all of us. Every time i played this game i felt frustration and never finished playing satisfied or enjoyed, the game deleted almost everything made tekken the greatest fighting game of all time and im actually losing to players who r years behind my experience and execution just bcoz the game allow it. Heat and chip dmg is a huge mistake adding nerfed movement of top of that is a recipe of disaster also the trend of dlc characters having installment just to push players to buy them is stupid to the gameplay.

2000 hours is a lot in a short time, so its no wonder you burn out lol. I played loads of FPS or MMOs for 1000s of hours it happens and is normal to not want to play after a while.
