That's a real workshop and a real working man, so refreshing to watch in this day and age.
THAT'S A NICE LOOKING BOW YOU HAVE , IS THE TOP LIMB LONGER LIKE A JAPANESE YUMI BOW ? , WHAT SORT OF WOOD IS IT ?
AWESOME I WANT ONE 👍
Crikey, Ive spent longer staring at this broken arrow than you spent fixing that one. Top video fella, thanks for sharing
It's been very helpful, than you!
Thank you so much for posting this! I need to repair one of my cedar arrows, and have always wanted to learn how to repair an arrow, (or "repair-row" as an archery buddy of mine refers to arrows that need repairing).
Very good and informative video. Is there any way to fix a cracked arrow?
Thank's for the video, it's very helpfull..
Tha ks for taking the tine to shoot this. Its still helping people!
leaned something new, thank you!
Great Job!!! Congratulations.
Great Job. Interesting!!!
Hi Sir, when you cut the second rod (min 1:50) you have to be sure to cut it to the perfect half, otherwise when you insert the other you won't be sure to get a perfectly straight joint, am I wrong? Have you ever made a crooked cut and still got a straight arrow? Thanks for any feedback ... nice video!
You are correct there, and any crooked cuts I have made id normally start again until they are right. Cheers
do You recommend cutting along the grainlayers or across to them?
I don't worry too much, I go either way
With the foreshaft id go across the grain
Awesome video!
Thanks for the lesson and the saving re broken arrows discarded 👍👍
Great fix. Thanks for sharing this video...
nice
Genius
So simple, thank you 😊
You really did make that look easy.... great video! Thanks!
Thanks Chris, good to hear you liked it
Nice job!👍
Great info sir..good job mate.
A test for straightness would have been a nice way to finish this video off. All your work in pointless if the repaired arrow is unbalanced. Otherwise, nice job.
Hi !☺☺☺ This is what we call a footed arrow ! Nice job mate !!!
just perfect
great video
Thanks, great information.
Is that knife you are using in this video your hand made one?
Yes it is Ed's personal pocket knife that he made for himself. He can't stand using brought items if he can help it lol
Very good video, thanks Ed , also I liked how you talked about not having a knocking point , I agree.
Thanks Tim
I have found myself getting use to not having a knocking point however I thought I would be more consistent with one.
It does make it easier as you don't have to think where to place the arrow, but Ed has got totally used to not having one and is pretty consistent. It really is a personal choice.
Awesome video!
Need to do some more ah Shep
Amazing! I love how simple you made it. I would like to see some more videos of you firing the bow and possibly showing off your hand made knives? thanks :)
Ed reckons that it was just a lucky shot - surprised himself lol
You certainly made that look easy! :) Thanks for the wonderful instruction.
Looking forward to seeing some of your fixes
hey that pretty good
Spot on bit of instruction sir 😊 I think maybe youve done that a few times before 😄 youve made me me look in my box of broken arrows and now ive got myself a nice little winter project all lined up 😃 cheers 😊👍
