I can't believe i have never heard of this until now. I would have loved to play this game back then. I remember reading about the first PC MechWarrior game in a magazine and have loved stompy robots since.

I beat this so many times as a kid. Its weird this is the only MechWarrior game where I willingly use Missiles regularly. I prefer Heavy class Jump Jet equipped all Energy weapon loadouts in the other games. While I use Missiles a lot in the Mechwarrior IV base game that's only because the restrictions on Mech Customization combined with a crappy Mech selection meant the only way to make a Jump Jet equipped all Energy weapon Heavy was leaving multiple weapon hardpoints unused. (Though I occasionally ran an all Energy weapon Catapult leaving the Missile slots empty) In This Game though I load up a Heavy Frame with a Large Laser, Jump Jets, and as many Homing Missile launchers as I can fit.

I met Neo and Mr Wright Way. Both Solid guys and couldn't be a nicer couple of people. Huge fans of both

I loved this game. There's one problem: if you load out with nothing but small missile launchers, you beat the game with relative ease. Ditch jump jets and max armor and missiles and you can beat any mission.

MSFS was surprising and also, frustrating for me. Feels like a Cash grab...And yes I do have a full airbus setup lol and yes, I have become pretty much exclusive to MSFS of late. The new Yakuza looks funny as and Starfield looks interesting.
