I have converted my T33 to EDF and it weigths 14kg. Unortunately the manufacturer's center of gravity information in the instructions is not quite correct. It is too nose heavy which leads to the kind of pumping during the landing approach shortly before touchdown. Same behavior as seen in this video. A slightly more tail-heavy set-up leads to much better control on the elevator during the landing approach.
Hmmm … thats annoying isn’t it. I have one with the new stabiliser but it has a K100 in it, I wonder if the lower residual thrust on mine helps with the porpoising which ai get less of. Can I ask what yours weighs, I would guess 10-11kg?
Thank you for your comments, it was a buddy of mine that has the spit I just like too go out a support the maidens, you never know what’s going to happen lol.
Since the 18-19-22-24-25 ALL GO BY THE NAME CHIEFTAN.. MORE SPECIFIC INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL.. I am guessing a 24 ( large cabin) but no clue to the power, year or other facts.
Thanks for the quick note. When it was purchased we decided to get the engine and outdrive going first before tearing into it ,restoring and updating and is now all tore apart but have plenty pictures on line if interested. Go to. s1077.photobucket.com/user/sedge70c/story
Nice flight, love the cockpit view. I just ripped the landing gear on mine from a stalled landing on grass on a windy day so I feel your pain. Hope you get her back up in the air soon.
Thanks for the quick note. Yes you definitely need to come in at the perfect speed to grease her in. Lucky it just broke the glue joint on the landing gear tray so quick fix. Also just flew it with a new battery which was huge, had to cut out and slide it past the back wall. But great power improvement ( hobby king graphene 6000mah 65c.
+Jose Perez I flew two flight on it for 5min each and still had 11.5 volts in it. I'm going to guess I could get 10 minutes if I stay out the throttle but 8 min heavy on throttle.
+Jose Perez First graphene pack I've tried but the guys at the field put it on there fancy charger that checked internal resistance of pack and was impressed there was 0 resistance and they were going to buy one for themselves.
Looks like you made a valiant effort to recover. Way too much of the wing missing I suppose but at least it seemed you fought it all the way in. Too low to Analyze , too fast to trouble shoot and not enough time to eject. I love your smile while walking back with the pieces........good sport
Best guess is a chieftan 21. ???
Interesting start "forgetting" that Russia saved UK and Europe.
Where did you get the navigation light from?

Hi it’s a friends plane, I think he said it around 35lb’s almost 16 kg. It sure is sensitive on the elevator for such a small surface.
@@andrewe9155 16kg is a lot, mine is around 10kg dry / 12-13 wet
Fantastic video and great looking Spitfire. Enjoyed watching this film very much. Great sound of the engine. The pilot handled the plane well .

FANTASTIC A FOUR STROKE. IS IT EASY TO GET TO THE HIGH AND LOW ENDS?. CHEERS.
No info? Engine? Kit, ARF? What? Recommend do a stall test at altitude, lots of altitude so you know what to expect when landing.
Plop!!!
Great second flight!!!
Great second attemp!
Awesome!May I ask which brand of airframe and engine?
it's a Phoenix Models 60cc Spit with a Valach 70 4-stroke.
The small wheels give it away.
Just a spectacular job filming and editing the flights! Thanks so much.
Nice video and nicely flown your Odyssey! Seems to me that you can fly it very slowly. What is the weight? Greets, Daniel
I like the smoke
You make the best videos! 👏👏👍
That sounds good
it was ripping!

Looks good.

Really? How many minutes can you get with the 6000 pack?
