We have some 50-year-old video machines in which the rubber belts have liquified over time. These belts need to be removed. At the moment this is a filthy job as the rubber can't be solidified, we have to scrape it away and then use nail polish remover to clean the area. Would this spray solidify the rubber, enabling us to remove the gooey belts without all the mess? Thanks.

The recover of that rubber looked a lot less than 95% it almost triples in length plus you can see the hesitation when showing product after stretching obviously under normal application this wouldn't be a great issue but a 95% recovery rate is pardon the pun a stretch of the truth 😅

Can I paint over the top of the Liquid Rubber. I have 2 old large water tanks. They have had doors cut into them. I’m looking into the best way to waterproof? I would like to make one a sitting area. The other, a bathing area for summer. So I would need to paint over the top. I’m not worried about the walls of the cement tank being flat, there will be designs on the walls anyway. Thank you.
