I had a little free time today that I spent a bit on playing with the Blast Beats more. I really like the synth sounds but I hadn’t done much with the drums.
I think the drums aren’t the most amazing part yet, but they’re interesting in the way that some parameters are shared. I’ll be trying them with the “safe envelope ranges” disabled next. See what else they might do!
I do get a kick out of any groovebox that has a step jump or stutter mode though. Always fun for me.

Just a little something for now. Analog 4 is going through the Mood MkII at half clock to dirty it up. Syntakt is smushing everything with its drive. It’s also been a while since I messed with video effects much so I wanted to fool around a bit with that too. I know it can be distracting but I think it’s fun. 🎞️ Make some music. Cook some food. Another night playing my family to sleep. I’m using the Syntakt’s keyboard fold to play the Microfreak, soaked in Mood MkII reverb. This pad preset is called Cryda Chords and I think it’s gorgeous. It’s got just the wobble and noise to it that I love. Bless whoever designed this patch.

Little thing that came together today on the Syntakt and Microfreak. The MF is using the Karplus string engine for the harpsicord like sound and getting a little flavor from the Mood MkII pedal.
