I'm glad you found the video useful! Yes, there is a grab-handle on the back wall of the shower. You can just see it come slightly into frame in my video for an instant. I appreciate the question, I"ll make sure I highlight those accessibility options more in the future! I will also say that the hose for the hand-held shower head was pretty stiff and stuck out quite a bit from the wall. This made it somewhat awkward to move around when you were showering with shower head in the holder and not using it as a hand-held. When using it like this, I looped the hose outside of the curtain around the towel rack next to the shower. That kept the hose out of the way. I hope that helps!

Hello! We had 3 suitcases (2 large and one medium, plus two carry on bags), but it was my husband’s first cruise and he stuck his bag in the closet. I told him he could fit it under the bed, but he left it there. Thanks for the question!

@@lynseycobden203 hahaha!! We are actually booked in QG on the Queen Victoria, but not until spring of 2026. I will definitely do a cabin tour of that. We are actually in the middle of flights out for a cruise with Princess right now from Quebec to Boston. Can’t wait for that QV sailing, though!!

I'm glad you found it useful! The cabin was very quiet and I don't remember hearing any general hallway traffic. I think I remember a couple of times where kids ran down the hall and I could hear them, but those were one-off situations. I hope you enjoy the cabin!

I hope you get the upgrade! I agree that having the balcony for the Caribbean will probably be nice. I'm doing the Caribbean in November and booked a balcony for that reason. I'm glad you liked the video!

@@DHollandTravels Guess what? I canceled the Britannia balcony upgrade late last night. I started thinking more about it and decided not to. It might be nice, but every time I have been upgraded to a balcony, I just don't use it. Such a waste of money. For a couple the balcony cabins would be worth it because they have a sofa. But I can only sit in one place at a time. The only cabin I really like on QM2 are the solo cabins. The windows are way bigger and you can see outside sitting down. The shelter balconies and obstructed view balconies and the regular ocean views are a total waste of money for me. Those I will never bid on. I like to be able to be inside sitting down and see the ocean, not only when I'm standing up. Reminds me of my first Carnival cruse over 30 years ago that had the porthole window. I actually looked out it only once and happened to see a dolphin.😁 I decided to take that money and spend it in the port towns on special lunches or in the on-board shops. Or on another cruise. I wish one of the ports was in Bermuda. So far, my favorite place in the Caribbean. Happy travels!

The Q5, Q6, and Q7 cabins are the lowest grade of Queens Grill. From what I understand from the QM2 deck plans, there are 7 levels of Queen's Grill suites; Q1-Q7. Q1s are the largest Grand Duplex Suites, Q2 are the Duplex Apartment Suites, Q3 are the Royal Suites, Q4 are the Penthouse Suites. Q5, Q6, and Q7 are the Queen Suites. The Q5 and Q6 are basically the same cabin, but the Q5s are located more midships and the Q6s are located forward. The Q7s are the wheelchair accessible Queens Suites with larger doors and a shower instead of a bath.

@@DHollandTravels Wow! Such a detail explanation. Thank you so much. I travel solo and as of now wouldn't book the queen suites, but maybe the princess suites. I have several bookings coming up 3 in solo cabins and one in an inside cabin. I bid on an upgrade for a Brittanica balcony because I still want to see outside and not have any obstructed views when I'm inside because I seldom sit outside, but the views are always great. I only bid on the shorter trip to Hamburg. Thanks again.

Happy to help! I had a Princess Grill (P1) cabin on the Queen Elizabeth, and I really enjoyed it. I have looked at the solo cabins on the QM2, they look really nice. I would definitely consider booking one of those if I was solo on her. I haven't tried an inside cabin yet, but I would be interested to try it on a shorter cruise to see how it is. We have a oceanview cabin booked for our next cruise coming up in September on the Emerald Princess, it will be our first time in that grade, although I did put a bid in for an upgrade to a balcony on that. Not sure if we'll get it. Good luck on your bid!

I hope you found it useful! I didn't have any issues with bumping up against the shower curtain. There was a liner inside with a heavier curtain outside, so the same as my setup at home. The shower curtain is hung directly across and does not curve outward like some curtain rods do, but again, I didn't have an issue with bumping up against the liner at all during my showers.

It was great, wasn’t it!? The views were so awesome. Especially when the falls were lit up at night!

Hah! You should! I wish I had gotten more footage of the hotel, it's really beautiful. We were very busy on that trip with birthday activities! We would definitely stay there again!
