After I use my minn kota for several week with a lots of problem and now the unit is junk un serviceable I contacted the minn kota already and no one can repair the unit they only know how to reset the unit that's why I take a video that I already reset but still no response

I got experience from my friend's Riptide ultra with the same case, with my inspection there some way to identified the problem when you deployed the motor but cannot trim: - Turn off motor - Long press the power button, and pay attention to the LED There having different signals show what your status: - If you see the power LED shows as once green, then once red, then keeps flashing green: If you see this, your trim module should be fine, after turn it off and on, press the power button triple times within 2 seconds, if the trim working on reset, you're done. - if you see the power LED shows as once green then keeps flashing red: You trim module "disconnected". Yes, I say it disconnects by some reason: the power contact in parts number 266 to 270 failed, wires break, or worst case is 292 board assy failed. My friend's Riptide ultra 36v failed in upon reason about the wire broke off from the ring contact twice, one was the positive side, another time was the negative side. Re-wield it and paste some silicon to prevent corrosion, then doing the trim module reset by long-press the power button to turn on the motor, it should be back on "connected" then doing the triple power button reset and it working again. Hope my sharing and "keep fighting" with these "easy failed trim module" experience helped you.
