An unusual warm spell in Mid-March has made for some nice calm scenes on Okanagan Lake in Kelowna. The lake is especially calm as nobody has their motor boats out of winter storage yet.
Serene Swan Scenes

Peaceful afternoon on Okanagan Lake in late December. These swans migrate here every year, arriving in late Fall from the north and returning again in the early Spring. My eye tells me they are Trumpeter Swans and not Tundra Swans, but what do you think?

I've been taking photos for over fifty years, and if you told me that one day we could buy inexpensive cameras that would fly through the air and take videos or photos of astonishing quality, I probably wouldn't have believed it. I have several drones but I live on the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island, and it's airports and national parks everywhere you turn. I have to drive for an hour if I want to launch my Mavic 2 Pro. I envy you.
@rossjohnson642 yes, there are plenty enough restrictions on where we can fly. Would be nice if licensed operators could fly sub-250g drones in parks.

Condos and more condos. Every Canadian city is the same. They don't create anything. Build places of work, places of production, THAT builds wealth. Not condos. yuck!
Then again, you look at the new Costco in Kelowna, with its massive footprint and not one single floor of living units above it. That’s such a waste of land these days, and should not be allowed. And, it’s all for the profit of a mega company. 😠
Looks like all the repairs were done on the pedestrian bridge. Good to see a city not standing still on stuff like that. I’m living in the US for a while and stuff like that can stagnate and everything falls into disrepair.
Calgary is still quite well off, so they're able to maintain their infrastructure well.
The last one you shown isn't Midtown. The three building in the background is actually Midtown.

Great video! Awesome drone shots! We go there a couple times a year and rent a canoe, so peaceful up there.
What are the times for the misting station?
That's a good question. Seems pretty random as I've rarely seen them turned on.
From 1.14 its an absolutely stunning piece of film. What a location. Nice flying, editing, and the music well that was just a masterstroke
