Flight on the dreamliner 787-9 with TUI airways from London Gatwick to Cancun Mexico from my point of view. The flight was around 10 hours 20 minutes and i would do it all over again for the beauty that is Mexico. Unfortunately our return flight wasn't as good as our flight out. I love aviation and planes I’m going to Cancun on TUI Dreamliner I’ve been on them quite a few times. Overall love TUI great experience and great plane hope you had a lovely time there .
We had an amazing time!! We ended up getting engaged on that trip and are now married. Mexico will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope to return one day.

TUI have 2 Dreamliner types 787-8 which the bulkhead would be row 30 & 787-9 which the bulkhead is row 32
Hi there just to ask are the drinks free on the place and can you watch your own movies,do they have a few channels to chose from.
Yes drinks (except champagne and Prosecco) and meals are included. They have entertainment on your screen (movies, tv shows & music this changes every few months). You can watch your own from tablet/ phone and charge from the USB port in the screen (uk plug socket in the premium seats).

In premium they have usb charge point in the screen and uk plug socket between the seats. I’m economy they have USB ports in the screens 😀

Off to Mexico (piss off Covid) for my honeymoon in August and as a nervous flyer though I’ve been on lots of flights videos like this are reassuring 😊 if anyone watching this who has been to Cancun can give me some tips of some good attractions or things in general it’ll be grateful accepted 💪
Hope you have a great time we loved Mexico. We unfortunately had a terrible honeymoon in the Dominican Republic (vlog will be up soon). We wished we’d have gone back to Mexico for honeymoon 😔

No, I believe they are around £50 or €50 for the day drinks and lunch included.

static_ clan15 thanks for watching. While we were there it rained one day for around 10 minutes, a couple of days later one evening there was torrential rain like I’ve never seen before. Other than that the weather was beautiful. Apparently it is hurricane season between May- October, we went November-December and I can’t complain.
It’s so rude to clap at the end of the flight their just doing their job people are acting like they’ve never landed a plane before.
It's actually common with expats. After many years of spending time away from family, now they get to see their love ones sooner hence they clap. Like a sign of relief.
They clap because they arrived safely.

@markTK901: OK, I see what you mean now. I'm 90% sure row 44 has windows both sides, but I will check and get back to you. I'm on the 789 tomorrow :) Row 42 is the row with the strange missing windows.

We're going to Mexico next week, we've chosen extra legroom seats on row 34, would've liked to have chosen the same seats as you but my daughter doesn't like the fold away screen and the table coming out of the arm rest, the only thing I don't like about the fold away screen is having to put it away half an hour before landing whilst everyone else is still using theirs, this happened to us in Premium cabin last year.
TUI Cabin crew here. We would usually ask for armrest screens be stowed around 15 mins before landing, depending on the weather. (Sometimes we need to pass our checks to the Captain a little bit earlier, then take our seats very quickly.) If you want, just leave your screen out until the crew do it for you, you'll get longer to watch TV then. Glad you love the entertainment though, and you're still very welcome to listen to any of the radio channels at that time too. Small price to pay for a wonderful holiday though. Hope you had a fantastic time 🙂

I see what you mean but it really wasn’t a problem for us, we were just excited to start our holiday. I will note the extra space seats with the pull out trays and TVs are slightly slimmer in width than the extra legroom seats.

KFC boneless Chicken!!! They do have branded drinks included you just have to ask for the specific one you like, e.g instead of vodka and coke you would ask for smirn off and coke. The Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. I enjoyed the Michael Jackson show and the circus but the magician wasn’t so great.

There nothing to worry about first the tui company is the best and second the Dreamliner is free you don’t need to pay for the drinks or the food but snacks like the crisp you do I thing but the dream liner is the best airline going

Yesnik Nomis , I’m sure you’ll have a great flight The Dreamliner is fab! We really enjoyed our flight out & thought paying for the “extra space” seats was totally worth it. Unfortunately on our return flight we had “normal seats” and even though the flight was shorter (around 8.5 hours) it was pretty awful 😞. I’m sure premium will be good, enjoy your holiday 🙂
