Thanks a lot for the tutorial. Never thought of doing this myself. I have a stupid question. What are the thicknesses of the dowels you use? And how many go into one bundle?
What do you think about the Izotope Spire Studio as the recording/interface with the BR .. or is that redundant? The Spire Studio presents the files as 192 khz in .wav zipped.

is it possible to use the br-800 as a live mixer for jamming?
Yes it is. copy a WAV 44.1-16mhz file in song sketch mode on track 7-8 and ur good to go!

Pretty cool, but I use Mastering on the BR-800 and export just the stereo mastered song track/v-track. You can do all that mixing as you master, so you can try the level up or down during the mastering. Also, you can set Pan, EQ, Reverb, and Chorus or Delay for each track before mastering. Great work!
