Lesotho - Kingdom of the Sky | Cinematic FPV

Ever heard of Lesotho? The country surrounded by South Africa is the highest and coldest in Africa and known for its special highland landscapes. I spent one week there and tried to film as much as possible - hope you enjoy! Big thanks to Flying Robot in Cape Town for the help with spare parts and repairs! What flight time (with which battery) do you get with a go pro?
Hey :) At the time of shooting this video I used Tattu R-Line 1550 mAh batteries and a GoPro 9, and if I remember correctly I got an average of around 3 minutes flight time
Tolles Video!!🔥
Danke ;)
2:44, nice.
Absoulutely Stunning....If you wouldnt mind i would like to contact you regarding the build you used for your FPV

Outstanding work!! Kindly upload latest videos!!
Thanks :) Unfortunately I lost my drone recently and trying to get a new one, which is not so easy since I'm in Africa at the moment :D
@@kimafpv ohh, my bad. I also lost my Protek35 last week. I can understand the feeling. Sorry for your loss.
Amazing!! Beautiful Locations and great control!😀
Did you waterproof your drone?
No :)
Holly shit man you deserve soo much more attention started in the hobby recently!! Amazing skills!!
Thanks :D
Great locations, awesome flying, badass editing. What more can you ask from an FPV video? Well done 🔥
Thanks!
Good job man. I am wondering if u have permision to fly there. In Tatras you need to pay for this type of activity...
When I shot the video I wasn't aware that the whole Tatra area is a national park, so I thought I flew legally. I wouldn't do it again like that 🤔
I’m just getting into FPV and finding out there is so many regulations and limits in place… is it even possible to fly in places like this legally now? I read something about getting a permit from defence ministry 7 days prior with detailed flight path plan and paying 200 euro in case of Tatras, I’m like what the hell I don’t even know what it looks like there. Is there still places to do this? Seems like a bigger barrier to entry than building the drone.
@@spatnaspolecnostI guess it really depends on the country and area you want to fly in. I think in almost whole Europe the regulations are the same, so it's legal to fly if you are keeping 100m distance from buildings and stuff like that. National Parks like the Tatras are of course an exception to this 🤔 But it's hard to do everything 100% legally, since as an FPV pilot you would also always need an extra person to keep sight of the drone 🤷
Nice flying and great sceneries! 🤩
awesome video
Top work here, really enjoyed watching this. Excellent piloting skills!
Thanks! :)
Did you stabilise this in post? Looks so good!
Yes, with Reelsteady :)
Really nice video mate 😌 its so cinematic
Thanks :D
Love the vid, just gettin into the hobby wondering what route should i go, dji or cheaper analog? how do you find the nazgul in comparison to protek? is the range better?
Well depends on how much money you want to spend, I haven't tried digital yet but I guess it's a lot better. Range always depends on the transmitter, reciever module, antennas etc. I never flew very far away with the Protek so I'm not sure. And the Protek and Nazgul are not really comparable since they are two different kinds of drones, but I think the Protek is a very good drone to start with :) For mountains and stuff like that the Nazgul is obviously the better one
What a beautiful place!
😂 it’s so funny to watch but not with experiencing it
Woah how could this flew so far 😮 the distance is amazing! I’m just starting to learn fpv 🫣🔥
Most of the shots are actually not that far away, the furthest I flew was around 1.5 kilometers but then the video connection really started to get bad :)
@@kimafpv my first fpv drone is Protek35! That’s how i find your channel 😍 I’m subscribed btw 🔥
@@iamrich2030 Thanks! :D This video was not made with the Protek though :)
@@kimafpv yes, i mean the other previous video on your channel 😍 i love it!! 🔥
How has the drone durability been so far?
Really good, the prop guards broke twice but that was the old version, now I mounted the newer ones and they are still intact. At one crash the GoPro flew away and tore the top plate apart, but other than that nothing broke :D
nice flying. are you using stock rates?
Not anymore, but at the time of shooting this yes :D
This is incredible😌

bro what's your motor idle % in betaflight config? 8 or 5.5 or even lower?
It's 8% so standard setting :)
bro what's your motor idle % in betaflight config? 8 or 5.5 or even lower?
Hello full GoPro or naked?
Full GoPro 9 :)
molto bello
I love it ! What is the angle of your camera ?
Thanks :D Always different, but mostly around 25-35°
Tolles Video 👍🏼
Absolutely stunning 😯💯❤️
Stunning footage mate 💕 subbed ya ✌🏼
Beautiful footage 💕
Oof 😓
Definitely a fun watch haha. Sorry for your losses. That Protek holds up great; considering building one soon. Do you love it? Did you go through many parts during these crashes?
It held up incredibly! The only things that broke during these crashes were the top plate with the GoPro mount, the prop guards and one (!) propeller :D And the GoPro screen
And yes I love it, although I have nothing to compare it to so far :)
This video is a masterpiece. The classical music and the beautiful environment are very special.
One of the coolest fpv Drone videos!! amazing flying and editing skills💯💯
Thanks ☺️
