Thanks for the detailed video! Have you designed a system that uses a large external tank for thermal storage as one of the heat sources? Our project is in CA and we get plenty of sunshine during the day to heat up a storage tank what would be used overnight when it's cold. Electricity is very expensive for us so I'd want to use the sunshine as the primary source and a propane heater for secondary in case the thermal storage tank was inadequate on those infrequent cloudy/cold days.

Is it feasable to have this system run under the floor of a 20' box truck with the original 1" oak flooring?

What’s the landscaping fabric made of? I’m concerned about petroleum based materials leeching in my soil.

I can't find any information on whether this system needs a buffer tank (like traditional hydronic systems). Is the standard tank also considered as the buffer tank? How well insulated in this tank? Won't it cause my wood pellet boiler to run continuously to keep the water at 140F?

I wonder if this could be used in the walls or roof to cool the house by adding a chiller to the tank and radiating the collected heat outdoors? Or how much could be achieved by evaporative cooling and topping off the reservoir via float valve?

Were those insulated IBC's in the garden? To be truly self sufficient, water must be harvested. The heated ground under the slab foundation would seem to be a perfect place for a buried water tank.

to start off I wouldnt have 12v batteries... you want a 48v system with an mppt charge controller for a real off grid solution. 12v system is old school. Good luck
