Don’t forget about ranged cantrips during combat! Also, when you see a dice roll on your screen, click “add bonus.” Guidance is also a cantrip, meaning it doesn’t cost any resources.

Combat is kinda lengthy to explain. So I’ll try to make this concise. Damn near everything in this game is a dice check. Accuracy is determined by the main stat the weapon or spell uses. Weapons use your Strength or Dexterity scores to determine if an attack lands or not. Everyone has an Armor Class. So when you attack with a Strength weapon (ex: Longsword) the game rolls two dice - attack and damage. If your attack die is equal to or higher than the enemies Armor Class, then the attack hits. The second die determines damage (the stat on the weapon description). The lower the Armor Class, the easier it is to hit. The higher the Armor Class, the harder it is to land a hit. There are a lot of tips online if you’re interested. Fortunately, you’re on PC so that makes the game easier to navigate.

Episode 2 lets go! Walking past Shadowheart is peak 1st playthrough gold. Love it. The real Dark Urge is to backseat game, lol. Can't wait for the next one.

Starting your first playthtrough with a Dark Urge run? Great respect! I hope you are aware that you are basically playing a murderous Psychopath. You mostly can fight it or give in to the Dark Urge, but sometimes your dark fantasies will take over and control you. The game will give you _many_ choices how to play it out - be prepared for a wild ride 😅

This game gets addictive especially once you find out just how much freedom you have.

Won't comment on some of your dubious choices, but the worst one is the brightness setting of the game. Not sure how much you are seeing, but I think in the video it is usually even darker and more difficult to make out details.

Check out the tutorials if you have any questions This game is the richest game i ever played. Meaning there are sooo many outcomes, play styles, ways to complete quests, dialogue options, etc. Please take your time with this game… no need to rush You can choose to play as an Origin character or you can create your own character. The Dark Urge character is its own character. The “Urge” is your inherent desire to unalive others
