Fascinating interview. Zal is a wonderful and much loved and respected guitarist in his own right, but of course as the lead guitarist in SAHB he is positively legendary. Loved the interview and delighted to hear Zal's stories of his influences and inspirations. ❤

He played with Elkie Brooks in the 1980's as her touring guitarist. Saw Sin Dogs at a small club in Grimsby, very poorly supported, must have been disappointing for them. They are still going and have replaced Zal. Orphans of the Ash, we will see
