High Tech Lawn Equipment ! eGO 650 CFM Blower !
Great video! I purchased this exact EGO model and pick it up from the store this Saturday. Very informative and I'm glad I'm not the only one who opens a big box like that too. Ha ha. Cheers!
Thanks! We just got 10 inches of snow here in Ohio where I live. Dropped the batteries in and off we went ! The only upgrade I’d do is adding sliders to the sides of the unit like the two stage has. The plastic lip at the bottom of the auger intake does wear over time. I probably have 20hrs on mine and it needs replaced
Go to 6 footers and brakes. Also get the 5 blade 28.
I had 10 foot blades and switched to 6’s with brakes. Once you fish with a pair of brakes, you won’t go back . 6 foot blades are way more reliable. That’s a bobs plate, I think

You could have gotten a better troller
@@bakervinci163 I love it ! No issues as of yet! What do you suggest?
The steps get loose and the turn buckle never last. It’s still the best boat on the water
@@bakervinci163 road vibrations take their toll on everything. Check out the broken welds on basscats. So far haven’t seen a problem.
Did you prime the carburetor first? 😅 Thank you for the review.
For the first time, I am looking forward to snow. Gotta feeling that I am gonna like this machine
We got one this fall based on your review and it's been life changing! 🎉We can get our front yard done in 30 min! That includes loading the leaves into the truck bed and taking them to the yard waste site. Incredible!! We learned that we couldn't dump on a tarp because the brushes pull it up. Instead, we made a dump area, easily loaded them into a garbage can and dumped them into the truck bed. I'm so grateful to know we have years of high performance to look forward to. We looked at cheaper brands, but Agri-fab is the only one I found that sells replacement parts. ❤️
That’s awesome! Just used mine last week. Going on six years !
Have mine about 6 years and going strong. Works great. Good for grass clippings, too.
Thanks for the update! Great stuff.
Awesome! I purchased this one. How would it be to push for a lady? Still easy? How about through the heavier stuff at the bottom of your drive from the snow blow? Is the speed solely for how fast you can walk while pushing, or does it need to be adjusted according to the heaviness of the snow you are working with. You've got a fan. Thank you!
In my 3rd year with mine, one of the best tools I've ever bought! Saves my back and arms much agony dealing with leaves!
Thank you for making my buying decision easier
WHY ARE YOU DUMPING ON THE STREET? WHY?
@@rayvin357 cause the town we live in has leaf collection services !
Junkyard
Spoiler alert. dizzy ing camera work. 2 minutes wasted time in the front end. Shoulda been a 2 minute video max .
You kid's fascination with these chain brakes drives me nuts!
Thanks for the review. As a suggestion don't spend half of your video showing your yard and riding around with the sweeper. The middle part was the best.
Dump in the street and the wind blows them back in your yard 😂😂😂😂… looks like it works pretty good though.
You have a wonderful child! Congratulations; nice job!
I'll never understand the younger generation's fascination with chain brakes. I'm sure I'll be glad it's there should the SITUATION arise; but QUIT playing with it! You 'people' drive me nuts with the constant flipping on and off of the EMERGENCY brake!😊
@@John-cj3ve comes from working for a tree trimming company where ropes and branches have been known to catch the throttle.
I was looking at it from a homeowners or ground sawyer's perspective. I used to run medium and large; (090, 075, and 051 saws); and never used the chain brake. I don't even know if those saws had one.
Would love to ride in it I’m around Cambridge been thinking about ordering one
@@randydenney3402 toss me an email at aquatractionofswo@gmail.com and see if we can arrange that! 👍🏼
Sounds like a jet engine 8 minutes into it. Great review, just what I needed! Bought it on sale in the summer, no way to really test it
Trying to restring mine....why so hard to find video for it
I’ve seen a few. Just align the arrows and it should thread easily.
I'm getting one of these too this year. I've chopped them up in the past with the tractor and they do disappear each week through Thanksgiving..and my grass does appreciate it, but that decomposition stops by 1st wk December as the temps go below 50. I also do dethatch each year, and picking up that debris layer with a push mower gets a little old.
What kind of battery?
Standard ego 56V. Still running today no issues !
Of course standard. How big? 5Ah?
Yes 5Ah. My apologies.
i like to mulch , cut grass with leaves . then sweep up in early spring
Will this sweeper pick up gum balls from a sweet gum tree?
Bring more of this
Bullet told me the prop I needed but come to find out it was not the best for the Bullet
How much can I ask ?
Weight does not have to even out the boat , if you are porpising, or having to adjust weight you got sold the wrong prop Or lower the motor where it mounts to the Jack plate , I had this same issue with my Bullet 22 sf with that same motor
It could be mounted too high where it mounts to the back of the hydraulic Jack , if you lower it I would only go one at a time , but I would think of doing this before going to spend of bunch of money on a new prop , only trying to help I do like ur boat
That boat is super fine
I want one.
How do you think it does with pine needles?
We had small pine trees. It picked them up no problem !
If you like the battery snowblowers go for it…. But I really don’t believe when you say that the gas one will be broken or in the shop when you need it. That’s just not true. I have an Ariens and it works great… and I do several neighbors driveway burms that the snow plow piles up in front of their driveway… and their battery Snowblowers can’t tackle it. That’s the truth. I do have a battery lawnmower which I like… but unfortunately the battery is dying and they want $200 for a new battery. I hear the Ego battery is $400…? Unbelievable. For a battery?? That’s ridiculous.
looks great. I would have sprayed the lid edges the same color of the gel instead of black though. Any auto paint store can match the color and mix up spray cans of it.
Thanks for watching ! I preferred the black myself due to the black foam edges. For most any boat painting application I use Totalboat products. They make a No-Etch aluminum paint that’s much easier than standard car enamels and unreal tough.
junk
Great blower but poorly designed on the scraper bar. It will chew up the scraper bar after 2x of usage, and making it hard to push the blower. I have to improvise by adding the skid shoes on both sides of the auger box. I used the Ego skid shoes. Wow, night and day! Now, I don't have to worry about chewing up the scraper bar, and now it's easy to push the blower.
I’ve got a pretty smooth driveway but I plan on adding them this year. Thanks for the input !
You talk up a storm but you never get to see them on the water wide open you're all talk let's get some video on the water wide open
We’ll get to the on the water stuff this year. I wanted to actually learn the boat to speak honestly about it. And provide some real speed numbers.
Got this model waiting for me in the garage for Xmas. Actually looking forward to snow to test it out!! 2 stage craftsman getting sold this weekend.
You might try this, after talking to several people (mainly from ace hardware) who own ego snowblowers, the biggest cause for the batteries dying so quick is because everyone runs them at 'turbo' speed. Maybe set the speed/throttle about medium or so (like gas snow blowers) and the batteries will last quite awhile
How about wet/icy snow? I brought same. Wait for snow
Check out the first video. All wet slushy snow. I tried to destroy this thing ramming it into plowed snow in the street. Impressive for a single stage electric !
you need to keep the blades running while you are picking up the leaves this cuts up the leaves better.
I’ve done it both ways. All depends on how thick the leaves are. If you mow while sweeping, offsetting the unit to the discharge side is the way to go !
See that's what I like,a true American posting a great video on helping a neighbor across the state .thank you on the helpful hints and of course God bless
It's a race boat that boat is layed out beter than they used to be onn reason It's not friendly to weight in the rear is it was originally designed for 2 stroke h/ p outboards and 4 stroke outboards are heaver
Add to that the lithium’s up front and the balance point changes. I’ve found with high performance boats that weight distribution goes a long way with high speed drivability.
This is an excellent boat and hull. I have ran several several hulls: couple champions, gambler, skeeters, rangers, legend, basscat, pheonixes , bullet, nitro, stratos and a few I'm forgetting. The point is, in my opinion, the new XB21 has it all. Set up is important, but quality build and performance goest to this hull. By far them most efficient on the water. It fishes extremely stable, it handles running rough water wave faces the best, It corners unbelievable better than the Champions I ran. Its storage is an open concept with bulk storage in mine . I like that as you decide how to configure. This is the funniest 30mph to 60mph spirited, responsive and agile ride in the business. Yes it runs significantly faster but if you are tour guy it's a dream come true in efficiency. Great great hull. I have had this boat in giant waves and in ugly chop. Will get another. Good first time owner walk through. I think over time you really get to appreciate the performance.
Thanks for the kind words ! I’m truly blessed. I waited almost 15yrs before buying another boat and did my homework. There are some great boats out there and the Allison isn’t for everyone. But like o said, for the way I fish and the places I fish, there were only a few boats to really consider. The Allison does so much well, and the build quality and hull are light years ahead of other boats. Any 2000lb hull is going to ride decent, but this thing rides awesome and has the agility of a jet ski. Thanks for watching. We do have more content coming, but the AquaTraction business has taken off so TH-cam has taken a back seat.
Yep, your the guy that puts them out in the street so the first time it rains it blocks the storm drain. Not to mention the mail man having drive in them. Hey the yard looks good. Great sweeper.
lol! Thanks ! Actually our township has a pickup schedule. They’re never there more than a day or two. Thanks for watching !
Nice video. I just bought the same one after watching your video. Now waiting for snow to use it this winter.
Doesn’t seem to throw as far as claimed….did you push the power to max?
Yes. This was an extremely wet and icy snow. It tosses powder snow much farther.
