The reason why your drifts with the Corvette and Synkro felt awkward is because they are swifts. Swifts start their turns slow but once they start drifting they can fly through corners at absurd speeds on top of high boost regen. However it's because of this that makes them horrible for drift masters.

Had a ton of fun watching this series and seeing your reactions haha. My favorite 40k faction is actually the Adeptus Mechanicus, the tech priests of Mars you were playing as! (amid all the jargon, the lore for this DLC was that you were a low-ranking tech priest and there was a goof in like the second briefing that if you did a bad job, you'd get put on the front lines) You couldn't get a good look bc this is in first person, but they're all decked out in a bunch of cybernetic enhancements and robotic limbs- I love their look. Praise the Omnissiah 🤖
