Die Stuntmen der Tierwelt!!! Das Hermelin ist eigentlich das häufigste Raubtier bei uns im Land, aber man sieht es seltener als den Fuchs. Das liegt erstens daran, dass es so klein ist und sich immer im Schutz der Vegetation aufhält, und zweitens daran, dass es sich so schnell bewegt. Im Sommer letzten Jahres entdeckten wir zufällig eine Hermelin-Familie in einem Holzstapel. Das ist super lusti...

That's a happy little critter!
Actually that's a war dance. It's trying to confuse nearby prey to catch it, or maybe the observer to keep them guessing.

"weasel" is just a umbrella term for small predators within the taxon Mustelidae. if you google "stoat" you also get names like "short-tailed weasel"... almost every animal species has many names, but if you like it precisely look at the latin name ;)
I know that it's a stoat......I'm a biologist....and a stoat is in fact a member of the weasel taxon. But in Germany we call it "big weasel" or "Hermelin"
Stoats and weasels are exactly the same thing. Europeans piss me off when they try to tell me the two are different. BOTH are of the same genus and species.
@@DeeTimmyfan From a western-European perspective (nature and language) lets try these translations, from the smallest to the biggest family member: (Nederlands, Dutch:) De wezel en de hermelijn zijn, net als de steenmarter en boommarter, familie van de das, de bunzing en de veelvraat. (Deutsch, German:) Das Wiesel und das Hermelin sind, genau wie der Steinmarder und der Baummarder, mit dem Dachs, dem Iltis und dem Vielfrass verwandt. (English:) The weasel and the ermine (=stoat) are, just like the stone marten and the tree marten, related to the badger, the polecat (...cat?!) and the wolverine. Although I also speak French an a bit of Spanish, I don't feel confident enough there. Online translations give doubtful results. One thing is very clear though: a weasel (Mustela nivalis)) is the smallest, is usually brown summer and winter, with a brown tail. The ermine/stoat (Mustela erminea) is bigger and has a stronger tendency to change its fur colour from brown to white in winter with the black tail tip remaining black.

@sallytoothfuck Einfach bei den Render-Buttons unter "Integrator" die Samples höher stellen, so auf 200 oder 500. Das dauert zwar länger aber das Bild hat mehr Samples und ist nicht körnig.
@TheSchmalzlock nein. die zehe mit der sichelkralle konnte wie ein schnappmesser runtergeklappt werden und war so eine super Waffe. nützlich für einen raubsaurier...
aber warum? Das ist doch sicher unpraktisch...
@TheSchmalzlock Ja, die Zehe muss oben sein. So eine Zehe mit Sichelkralle hatten viele kleine Raubsaurier. Siehe Jurassic Park ;)

@RyleySwanFilms Thanks. This was my first blender animation i finished. The moves of the raptor could be a little better. The rig took me much time but at the end it became a very simpel rig. (I'm a german - sorry if my english isn't correct ;) )
