Hi what helped you prepare for the interview, can you recommend a mock centre for interviews?
If you find any tell me cause I’m in the same boat 💀
Hey, do you know if you could do the BSc in the third year?? and continue the rest of the yrs after that??
Hello. ICL is my dream uni and i feel like i'd be able to get in considering everything and after watching your videos which really helped me (thanks!) but like my only problem is financial constraints. Can you pls clarify what the minimum amount is that i'd have to pay for the mmedicine course as an indian student
What did u get in sjt?
Hi I’m a fifth year medical student in Japan looking for clinical elective in London. Do you have any idea how competitive it is to be accepted as a visiting international medics or any advice on speciality which is relatively less competitive???
what were your offers and how big was the UCAT in deciding your offer?
Wow; how do you know all these things?
Could you please kindly create videos on Alevel exams preparation etc . Many thanks 🙏
Really helpful. 👍
Very information. Good luck👍
Give us a video on how the rest of your BSc year is going!!!
Are csi exams like end of topic tests you get in secondary and sixth form? Also could you give some TH-camrs and resources you use to revise? Also I’ve heard that during exam times, imperial students get very competitive and people don’t like to help others with revising? Like someone said they had a student in their class send out incorrect notes to everyone just because they wanted to be the best in the class?
Hi Akshi, i hope you remember me Ive been watching your videos since 2021 during my GCSE times and ive been following since. Im glad to say that i have a medicine offer for UCL and you have really helped me on my journey to get into medicine, just wanted to say thank you
@Bruhmoment-ym4fz thanksss it was 5.7 6 and 3A
however im kind of reconsidering my career path so I might not take the offer 🥹
@Bruhmoment-ym4fz omgggg that score is amazing bro some of my friends with similar bmat scores got into both imperial and ucl, but dw u got offers which is great
can you go to another uni during your 4th year or nah?
Absolutely!
'Promosm'
Can u ask about quota for contextual and non contextual ?
I am nervous for my a-levels
Negative canthal tilt its. Overrrrr
Fs man 😭
@@AkshiKumar its ok bro at least u look tall. im gonna be heightmaxxing in 1st year of med hopefully my heart dosent explode 😂
😂😂😂 nah dw man there’s still hope
Thanks for the great vid!
I’m in year 11 and I’m hoping for: 5|5 science 7 English Lit 8 English Language 5 Maths
For example if you take a non medicine subject in that year will you learn the same amount of information that students of the subject learn for four years?
Eh probably not - it's not a replacement for taking a full degree in that subject. Hope that helps :)
Is there any chance you could make a video specifically tailored to imperial interview? Stuff like answers to why imperial or any good things to mention in imp interviews in general.
coming out soon :)
You are a good instructor!
Hello, thank you for the video! I just got an offer from Imperial medicine, and I was just wondering.. If my answers are too short for 5 mintues, do I get follow up questions by the interviewer? Thank you!
Hey! So first of all congratulations! Yeah you can sometimes get follow up questions, other times they will just end the station there - do not worry about it :)
@@AkshiKumar That is so nice to know! Thank you so much :)
Hello, thank you for the video! I just got an offer from Imperial medicine, and I was just wondering.. If my answers are too short for 5 mintues, do I get follow up questions by the interviewer? Thank you!
hey congratulations :) so yeah sometimes you can but there are also times where they will stop the station there if they've asked all the questions and ask if you think of anything in the remaining time that you can say so...best of luck preparing!
Nice video very helpful
Great Video Bro
how long did it take for the offer to come through?
About 1 month? Although it can take longer based on various things - none to do with performance!
@@AkshiKumar ok tysm
Thank for the tips especially with how you are always empathetic towards the patient and getting them comfortable. Plus the fact of getting a second opinion by another doctor is something I didn’t think of so thank you
The final mock answer is from the organ donation station 😂 please ignore this
Good vid but I think the third mock answer is for organ donation rather than abortion
Yep that’s an error - thanks for the notice 😅

Feeling pretty nervous about Friday. I’m applying to ucl and imperial so I’m hoping that I can get around 11.5+ to be safe
@@pinkmangooooosame😭😭😭
Hey!! Can you tell us what did you get in ur UCAT?
hey sorry about the late reply! i got about 2900 in my ucat i think although i don't exactly remember.
Bro i need u to answer this So i m from India if i give bmat or ucat and qualify with good marks will it grant me a 100% or even 80% scholarship like in Cambridge med school basically please tell... Does the university provide dorm with joined bathrooms if not then how can we get one like ?
i believe most bathrooms are not shared. not sure how you would request otherwise? i wouldn't.
do they ask you about your BMAT essay
could you do a video of what those MMI questions are/could be? i heard that there is a lot of MMI stations which ask you to do a task (eg explain to the interviewer how to untie a knot), is this true
Very informative.
Brilliant thank you. So usefuk
The way You speak is outstanding💌
Hi Akshi thanks for the video! On the topic of the bmat I think i won't meet the bmat s3 cut off because I only wrote 1 sentence for the against point and conclusion but my intro and for points were very big. If i am strong and exceed the cut off for S1 and S2 do you think they would be willing to overlook the s3? I am also contextual btw
Got any last tips for BMAT Preparation. Congrats on completing your 3rd Year of Medical School.
Appreciate that man - lotta tips tbh it’s a pretty tricky exam imo but there’s a bunch of things to make it easier. Highly recommend doing loads of past papers and doing it online/pen and paper depending whatever the format is this year. Made 3 videos on each part of the BMAT that you can have a look at :)
@@AkshiKumar Thank you! I hope it goes well, I've watched your videos and your Section 3 video was very useful pretty nice structure and easy to understand.
I have nine 9's and one 8 in IGCSE and 5 A's in IAS. Expected 5 A*'s in IAL. But I have a UCAT score of 2580 with band 3. I have also registered for the BMAT exam. I have chosen to apply to Imperial and Cambridge but am not sure where to apply in the other two choices because of the low UCAT score. Should I apply to only BMAT universities or where would be a good place to apply? Would Cardiff and Edinburgh be good places to apply to considering my results?
Edinburgh are literally like the highest Ucat uni
Lol yes! I’m amazed Edinburgh was mentioned. If you are RUK anything below 3200 and B1 is a straight rejection for Edinburgh!
Good point tbh this is kinda off the record and is more about their reputation as a high UCAT uni...officially though they don't mention this on the website so it's a little weird as to whether this is a definite thing about Edinburgh...I wouldn't read toooo much into it but ig it has a reputation for a reason. :)
Yeah this is true and like I mentioned, if you have a good UCAT score edinburgh is great! If not, it's not so great. It's about tactically applying - very few universities will also dismiss the entire application on the basis of one aspect...I wouldn't read too much into it@@Trickseyy
Thank you so much for this video. I am in the process of writing mine 😅 Is it possible for you to review my personal statement when I came done writing? I am not able to afford the costly personal statement review courses.
Hey mate sorry to hear about that of course! Please email me (my channel - about - email address)
