She was a messenger carrying God's love and wisdom. She led and taught people. Born during the Sung Dynasty in China more than a thousand years ago. She completed the final journey of her life at the age of 28 under the inspiration and grace of the Holy Spirit, Guanyin Bodhha, who guided her in her last human life. Commentary: More than 2,000 years ago, Guanyin was a disciple of Siddhartha (Buddha), a missionary who had come from India to China Mazu Boddha ( grew up on an island, and most of the residents were fishermen. She had extraordinary ability, helped residents to avoid disasters and other bad events, was good at astrology, helping fishermen avoid shipwrecks, farming, and finding water for wells. When diseases occurred, she was good at using herbs to heal them, helping the inhabitants fight against them, and eradicate thuggery. She had been engaged to a young man who she loved, but she gave that up because she knew she had an important mission and must sacrifice herself for the people. 民國89年我有去過,也沒那麼多村莊設備~ 現在也沒大支朝天香.好像是過年才有那種香. 至於金尊~已經埋藏起來了 是破壞後,埋藏起來再廟裡 哪裡誰也不知道~因為是秘密.

當時文化大革命，湄洲的漁民早就把媽祖遷移致民間家內藏起來，所以湄洲媽祖金身才沒被毀掉！
