Mine unlocks but doesn’t lift up itself and I have do it manually. Is it the same actuator that lifts up as well?

What if the battery is disconnected?

Is that the fuel distribution module next to it

Can you replace new one in the same way to no damage to it?

Does anyone know how to manually open the tailgate on the 2016 Range Rover sport. Battery is dead and I need to open the tailgate to get to it. I tired charging the battery from the connections under the hood but my charger would charge for a bit then kick off and stop charging.

My question is does the rack and pinion have to come down to remove the oil pan ?

Amazing! I bought the complete timing chain kit (M111-Engine) but as soon as I removed the front cover (in order to remove tensioner valve) I discovered I have to remove the head. I was too scared to do like you yet but when I see this I think I gonna try. Any experience on M111 engine? Its similar but not exact the same setup...

Had to change the whole timing chain kit on my C200 and when I went to see my mechanic he was struggling with this part. I showed him your video and he was super happy with the trick. Many thanks from Romania!

Nope wrong, the one on the small side you have to remove the hole seat and rail as the rail sits directly over the access to the pump flap 😔

Fun fact i drove my 03 mountaineer with the same engine as this 2k miles with that chain loose it skipped 2 teeth i retimed it just a new tensioner and guide upfront for that chain put it all back together and now it runs perfectly fine 🤣

It worked! But, almost broke the panorama glass when it popped out And It doesn't allow the whole space for right sided cover

What if the tailgate opens but won't close unless you close it manually? and when closed manually it still doesn't soft close which makes the car believe the trunk is open and the whole car won't lock.is it the same actuator?

Very helpful video - was looking at lifting seats out before finding it. One more ? I messed up the grip mechanism on the black wire plug. Could I order a new one and splice it in to the wires instead of taking it all the way back to the harness, I guess my real question is - where would I get one: TIA

Why's this guy so afraid to take the engine out? He like 2 bolts away from. Having it out anyway and he could have left the transmission in. Way easier to do everything on the engine stand
