On 2nd day of my visit to Amritsar, I went to the Jallianwala Bagh which has a significant important in history of India. In 1919, during the British rule, a horrific incident took place which shocked the entire country, A General temporarily appointed by British Crown named Reginald Dyer opened fire to the thousands of people who were assembled at Jallianwala to protest against the Rowlatt act that killed hundreds of unarmed civilians in Amritsar (Punjab), they were peacefully protesting against the act and did not provoke violence in any manner. After this incident, the India united against the barbaric act. This incident also said to be the last nail in the coffin of British rule in India. The place still has the mark of bullets that were fired during the incident and reminds how horrific this act was by the britishers. Next I headed towards the partition museum near the heritage walk in Amritsar which depicts the horror and pain suffered by millions of people when the India was divided into two country and Pakistan was born. The partition museum has all the classified documents and letters that were issued in 1947. Amritsar is a beautiful city that has a rich history of India. And finally, I ended up at Gyani Lassiwala, one of the oldest Lassi joint in Amritsar. A highly recommended place to visit. Do visit Amritsar.

Mein 13 June ko gaya tha Maruti Waganor se isi road se par rasta itna jyada kharab nahi mila par Munsyari se 17 ki pehle 1 jagah meri car stuck ho gayi thi bahut beautiful jagah hai Munsyari
June me mausam jyada kharab nahi rahta hai, we went in peak monsoon so bahot kharab tha, and yes.. the beauty of this place is of another level.
