As many guitar players do I fell in love with Randy Rhoads at young age and he is still one of my heroes so in this particular song I tried to pay tribute to him and all the great guitar players from the 80's. I really love how this solo combines good old blues licks with jazzy chromatic playing, every note comes in the right place at the right time. I tried my best to play this tune as accurate as I could, enjoy!

Pero éstas piezas de Will, son muy sutiles, con esa sencillez y ese sabor a esperanza que llenan el alma de añoranzas. Melodías que siempre ando buscando en mi viaje por la web. A friend introduced me to Zappa’s music when I was 17 in the early 80’s and the two first albums we listened to were Hot Rats and Zoot Allures. Right away the covers (this were vinyl times) were intriguing to me. Then the music blew me away (I was starting to play drums by then). I’ve been a big fan ever since specially of his instrumental music.
Thank goodness you didn't copy it perfectly. That said, your rendition is very, very good. And it helps having a ringer/sample and hold/fold, spindle, mutilate/arpeggiate/boing-boing pedal. Bow and we shall clap.

Your transcriptions are so painstaking and beautifully played! Congrats yet again. Have you thought about transcribing/performaing Dweezil's solo from the Zappa Plays Zappa performance? Dweezil plays homage to his father's playing to begin with and then gradually expands into his own style. Fantastic solo.
