Nice robot! I bet that thing has a pretty sick auton
this might be 1469A just cuz the song
So exited to see 500 of these at competitions
early game meta????
a bajilion intake robot I've seen this early in the season
Damn nice counter wieght
What is the auton routine
The goal of our robot in 24 hours is to provide a high school legal robot to display a minimum competitive viable concept to inspire and encourage other teams. Therefore, an autonomous was not created, as there is no plan for our team to compete with this robot at the VEX-U level.
Should run it at worlds
Bet
Wow! Looking good!
I love intake bots 🔥
Nice hang, wouldn't be surprised if it gets holecounted lmao
We can provide pictures!
Please do
How many rings is your auton?
Bro, its an RI1D. Not a finished comp bot.
@@9MotorGang 0?
It’s not rly meant for competition, just as a proof of concept of sorts

I like the design! Does it happen to fit underneath the first rung of the ladder?
It does not, the climb is completely passive, and to be passive w/o a release it must contact that first rung to engage.
Ohhhhh. I see!
Someone ordered pizza during their RI1D
Probably the cleanest intake for those mobile goals I’ve seen, any plans for the wall stakes tho?
Wall stakes not worth it cuz u can only hold 2 rings at once.
@@brennenpice4562 he means non alliance wall stakes.
@@brennenpice4562he’s talking about the two neutral wall stakes
The team worked through the game manual and decided that within the 24 hour time frame it would be more valuable to be an effective mogo scoring robot than sacrifice mogo scoring speed for wall stakes which are more difficult to score on and harder to contest.
@@brennenpice4562 Wall stakes are absolutely worth it. Just gotta figure out a design that can score them
Best radio wires in all of vex
We cooked 🔥🔥🔥
Dome quarterfinalist yep
!!
I am so confused when could you do that
this is vex u, their rules let them matchload in auton
@@RonanAnderson-rm6clok thanks
Rip aubie. Should have made dome.
We are at vex worlds right now!
Hey how'd you build the base for this?
Push bot
Sick idea fr
i saw you yesterday!!!!
My dead great grandma drives better
It's only because it's fast asl
one thing i suggest yall do is run a bracing bar along the bottom of your bot, so you can eliminate that twist in the frame
That shit sucks bomboclaat on top of
where did you get that ramp?
Are triballs easy to put in goal with the intake? Just wondering because it seems like it might be hard, if it is easy to put triballs into goal this intake is amazing
W
Do yo have a tutorial for this type or similar to this intake
Cool design! Usually the rubber bands are not really durable. What do you do to maintain them?
More wheels more better
For the Catapult, How many teeth did you shave off. I didnt really understand the 7 teeth for every 18 part. Just wondering like for the 36 tooth gear, how many you shaved off and how frequent. But it a really good robot and is really functionable.
I know that im late to the video but is there any way you could explain how you get so much power from the catapult im new to vex and would love a better explanation. Great video and the robot looks really cool!!
we also chose to do side rollers on our new over under robot! th-cam.com/video/TRkf9af8zAg/w-d-xo.html
How many gears did you shave from the 36T gear on the cata?
How many units long is the drive train?
wheel to wheel is 11 inches but the metal stretches 15 inches
@@kerfuzzle7712 Thanks
What functions did you use your motors for, how many, and which ones
Cool idea! Does that Intake reach Triballs in the match load zone?
It does not. We built that intake before the rule update.
@@AuburnRoboticsClub what is the rule update?
@@truettweber the vexu rules dont allow direct placement
Direct placement?
@@corporaloinkjink1915 when you are touching the match load bar in vrc you can place the triballs directly into the robot. Vexu does not have this accomodation
looks great :D, but can I have what you used the 8 motors on? Thanks
that's in the description, but the VEX rules were changed this year to total wattage of the motors instead of a flat eight, so there will be nine motors in the description. In theory more could be used if you were willing to sacrifice power.
Khaled what is that ramp thing on the front
A Ramp to guide triball into robot.
