To explain what happened, Neuvillette is a reincarnation of one of the ancient Dragon Sovereigns. The Dragon Sovereigns ruled Teyvat before the current order imposed by the Heavenly Principles. Celestia killed or subdued all of the dragons, and stole their authority over the elements to give to the Archons - likely to prevent the Dragon Sovereigns from rising up against them. The Hydro authority was given to Egeria, the first Hydro Archon, who created the oceanids. The oceanids saw humans and longed for their life, so Egeria gave them human bodies. As a punishment for creating life without permission, Celestia decreed that one day, all of the Fontainians would be dissolved back into the Primordial Sea from whence they came. Then Egeria died, and the oceanid Focalors became the Hydro Archon. Focalors was determined to save Fontaine, so she decided to trick Celestia into thinking the prophecy had come to pass. So she separated her divinity from her body and mind, and hid within the Oratrice. The human body left behind was Furina. Furina had to pretend to be the Archon for as long as she could, and was told that if anyone ever suspected she was a fake, the plan would fail and the Fontainians would be dissolved. In truth Focalors wanted Furina to be put on trial for impersonating a god at just the right moment, after enough energy had been accumulated within the Oratrice to not only kill Focalors, but also destroy the position of the Hydro Archon forever. So her plan worked, she died, the Archon's divine throne was destroyed, and authority over the Hydro element returned to Neuvillette, its rightful owner. Neuvillette then used his newly awakened power to turn the Fontainians into true humans, meaning the Primordial Sea could no longer dissolve them. The woman you didn't recognise was Skirk, the woman who trained Childe in the Abyss. This is the only time we've ever seen her.

Focalors is the one who sacrificed herself for the people's sins to be forgiven while Furina, after 500 years of pretending to be the real archon, gets to live the rest of her mortal life as a normal human

Alotta people were mad about Arle kicking the travellers ass but quite honestly I'm all for it, traveller won against a couple gods while under insanely op power ups and thinks they invincible the humbling was long over due

This isn't a spoiler because it's more of a lore thing, but the fight you see with Firefly was the last stand of her people against those space bugs. By the time that that Fight took place everyone from Glamoth was already dead, both the Planet and the people she and her fellow soldiers didn't run because she had no means of running away and she was too indoctrinated to think of it. The "Empress" was the person she was cloned from.

Well honkai really doesnt grow stronger bc technology grows stronger. It has always been unfathomably strong. Its just that when humans advance in technology.. Honkai becomes more active. It makes 11 herschers and if humanity isint ready for its embrace.. The 12th herrscher finality resets the world to 50k years ago. Meaning the world prop has been reset for possibly millions of years.

Fun fact... Lion and dragon represents dan and the general.

Most of the time I'm far too lazy to watch additional videos and trailers for games. But the style of the HSR content is just fantastic, I usually can't resist watching it. And the music! It's always good.

HI3rd is still my favorite of the Hoyo games, I really enjoy the combat, story and characters. If you like games with lost civilization tech, I would recommend trying the Legend of Heroes Trails series. They arent for everyone but they have a really cool worldbuilding where they found old tech and using it as a blueprint they have pretty much went from mostly knights on horseback/beginning of coal, to having airships, internet, and phones within 100 years which throws the nations into chaos with nobility losing a lot of power and multiple other factors.

The black plague could be stopped with an extreme antibiotic regimenbut that didnt exist back then, it fell victim to its own success. A virus is a failure if it's too lethal. It kills off all its hosts and burns out. I think the failed war against the Ming empire was their way of tossing in a free home field "W" for Hoyo, it is a Chinese company after all.

It would be so great if we could get the outfits from the concert trailer in-game. They all look fabulous.

The real problem with Otto is, terrible as he is and the fact that he causes a good 90% of the games issues aside. Without him humanity would've lost against the Honkai, so ironically despite being responsible for the deaths of millions he's also responsible for the continued survival of humanity as a whole, and this isn't even me getting into canon stuff but the fact that without him guiding humanities military might, or dealing with the plague we'd have lost before the 2000's I'd imagine

i don't recommend watching the honkai operation center episode for otto. that one did otto so dirty and did not get into a lot of the relationship details (and really gave audience the wrong impression of him) he's still evil and we still hate him. but his story was not just "simp". calling him a simp is more of a meme than anything else.
