    So I agree to your point of view what doesn't change a fact that once you get thru that beginner level knowing rules and being able to apply them more practiclyl like you are doing in the vid is what I try to do every time I learn eng. Even articles if you have read at list once or few times a text explaining their usage makes things easier to grasp. I'm at that point where I can speak comfortably listen wstch and read anything I want even papers on philosophy or science but my speaking grammar and writing is behind and I know that understanding suffers. Learning eng is fun for me no more unnecessary stress but it's still hard and I know that with a little bit of effort I will improve my eng.

      @englishsimplicity1946 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thank you for your considered response. The aim with chunks is to help people be more active in English. I think this approach is less abstract and easier to make sentences than traditional grammar. In my opinion, most people learn more by doing and by making mistakes. I also plan to make more videos, some of which will focus on more advanced 'grammar' of English. When it comes to articles, I do think that the grammar explanations are really helpful.

    • @englishsimplicity1946
      @englishsimplicity1946 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      PS, if you can understand papers on philosophy and science then your English must be really good. Also, you have a great attitude towards English, so I'm sure your writing, grammar and speaking skills will improve with time. Do you know DeepL? They have a write feature, where you write in English and it'll make suggestions on how you could improve it or rephrase it. One of my students used it for a writing a report for the EU. He said it was really helpful.

    What works for me is learning grammar pronunciation and repeating it every third and sixth day revising what I've learned listening and being aware the things i learn when I listen to people. You can speak good English but what it means differ from person tk person quite often not being aware of how little you know makes it easier to say I have good spoken or written English.
