How doesnt he have a lot of tiller torque. I have a tiller steer on my merc 60hp on a stacer proline hull and its very hard to hang on to when driven fast
Power steering will fix that problem

@@fredlemon4881 nope just a power steering module on the tiller, you won’t feel any torque from the motor at all, I had a 4.6m with a 130 Honda as a work boat, we carried water and fuel out to adventurers with it, without the power steering it would rip you out of your seat.

what's the difference between the 1770 enduro and the 545 side console?
Hi there. 1770 Enduro has a larger raised casting deck with more storage than the 545 Side Console, but is more suited to inshore fishing due to a lower transom than the 545 Side Console which has a higher transom.

Of the several boats I have owned, the most fishing I ever did was out of an open boat with tiller steer. So easy to launch, fish, anchor and maintain. This quality, however, is another level up. Such good lines.

Is this boat available in Australia?
Im considering a 6m in an extreme. Im not sure but did it look like the gunwales were so very low to the waterline on this one.
Hi there. The gunwales are 630mm high (deck to top of gunwale) in that model and they just get deeper as the models get bigger. Hope all is well and kind regards.
What a boat! You lads never fail to disappoint.
Getting very close to a perfect NT (AUS) barra boat. Two changes I'd make would be an increase in the size of the fuel tank to ~120lts (positioning it as far forward in the hull as possible), and if it isn't already, make sure that the free deck space has a measurement of 2000mm. That way you can roll a swag out comfortably, when overnighting onboard. Then to take it to the next level, seal the deck and foam fill everything below (except the fuel tank), and add a set of scuppers like on a Bonito hull. Swap the hinge position on the rear lids to the front and add a seat with a back rest that will lip forward to access the hatch. I'm getting old but a backrest is a must on those long runs up north. Great boat, but if you can't doss down for kip, Extreme need to address its casting platform design.

Is a great inshore fishing boat Kevin. Like all boats, always need to check the forecast before going out but we use it here in New Zealand for inshore sea fishing and love it. Kind regards
