This is super hard to memorize if you want to play it exactly as it is. No bar is the same, although is pretty much the same groove. It`s even more confusing because i hear the reverb on the snare as an 'e' on the backbeats.

I can't figure this out from research: what does it mean at 2:47 where there are 3 notes connected by an eight note line, but the 2 outer notes have a bit of 16th note line on them? Is that a different notation for a triplet or some specially placed 16th notes? I expect its the latter, but then why not put a 16th pause before it and after a set of 3 normally connected 16th notes? Thx in advance

Ok, before you try to play this song on the drums, even though it is a great song to learn, don't do this song if you're even a little bit of a beginner. this song is considered in the 6th grade for trinity college drums, so good chance you might just waste your time doing this. If you are an early beginner try songs like uptown funk, beat it or another one bites the dust. If you are a level higher than that, go for almost any ac/dc (band) song. A level higher than that try doing some songs like hey Jude, here comes the sun or come together by the Beatles. If you can do all those songs then only try songs by Metallica, and by guns n' roses maybe. After reaching that level the hardest songs you can do would be 'war pigs' by black sabbath or 'the trooper' by iron maiden
